+Vinesauce: The Full Sauce There was Sonyc for MSX2 in the "MSX2 Madness" video (Final version of Sonyc is very rare) and at the start of this video , there was the Sonyc GBA Demo (it was never finished) , so Vinesauce could play Sonyc for MSX2 once again (atleast , we could see all the levels of Sonyc).

Well, i'm here to answer some questions about these games and the Master System (that no one asked, but whatever): The Sonyc demo is actually a unfinished conversion of the Sonyc (yes that's the name of the bootleg) bootleg for the MSX2 (that Joel actually played in one of his streams). The games made by Zemina (except Super Boy 4) and Super Bio Man 1, and Hong Kil Dong are Korean MSX games converted to the Master System by the similarities of the hardware (if you count the Master System predecessor, the SG-1000, that the Master has retrocompatibility with it and it has pratically the same hardware as the first MSX, the motivations become more obvious), also Street Master is a bootleg of the first Street Fighter. Sonic the Hedgehog VS. os Mauniks (which a very poor translation attempt of "the Badniks", the classic Sonic enemies) is a Brazilian hack of the game Psycho Fox (the same person made another hack of the same game called "Pokemon", starring a deforming Pikachu). Ghost House is actually a real game developed by Sega, but it has Samsung in the title because Samsung distributed and adapted the Mark III (the japanese Master System) and Mega Drive consoles and games in South Korea. Master Zelda it's just another Brazilian poor hack of the game Teddy Boy and to finalize, Sonic Edusoft was an unreleased game made by Tiertex and US Gold (the unholy duo) and pitched to Sega to be a educational game starring Sonic on the Master System (4 years before Sonic Schoolhouse on the Win 95), but it was rejected.

"Os Mauniks" is a good translation of "the Badniks" though, I could see Badniks being localized into that. (I don't think there ever was a chance for them to be localized into PT-BR though)

A lot of these seem to be SG-1000 games, which run on the Master System iirc
That would explain why the games tell you to press Space, and have less colour
Some of those are actually MSX conversions, which a lot of Korean pirates did since the two systems are pretty much the same. (except the MSX has about 1kb more ram, so the pirates usually sold their games along with an adapter to fix that)

To be fair to that emulation CD, this is an emulator emulated on an emulator. Who knows if it's as bad on a real Playstation.

That goes without saying. That emulator is definitely nothing official. But what matters to me here is whether or not the actual console gave these kinds of results when playing the (inofficial) emulator. Because often playing an emulator on an emulator leads to all kinds of incompatibility issues. I mean, I remember how for a while not even Nintendo's official NES classics for GBA worked as intended (or at all) on GBA emulators.
I bought this compilation, it was bundled with that infamous pNESx emulator
(Yes, one was called Piss, the other was called pNES...x, quality signs)
and played it on a PsOne (slimline PS1). Both the SMS and NES games sounded awful, and as far as I can remember, the NES games played at little over half their speed. Even the graphic layers were messed up, you could see characters going through things they were meant to hide in

That looks like a spriteswap of the Master System game Psycho Fox. (Which was also released as the horrid Kid Kool on the NES and the awesome De-Cap Attack on the Genesis.)

Sonic e os Maunicks is portuguese for Sonic and the Badnicks (Mau means bad). It's a Brazilian hack for Psycho Fox. The games engine is untouched from Psycho Fox and Kid Niki. They changed it in Decap Attack, which uses the same ideas, just with a different engine for movement.
LOST it at Golden Axe. Playing this with a headset had to be painful. Also in Super Boy 3, the enemies move slower when you scroll! Awful.
That sonic bootleg was basically Psycho Fox which is a decent game!

Actually, Vinny, Super Boy was morally CORRECT. South Korea had a massive embargo on ALL Japanese goods during the 80s and 90s, so a lot of Nintendo stuff was resold through Samsung as a middleman. Super Boy is on3 of those things that were a result of the embargo. That's why there are Korean Flag Symbols (pepsi) as powerups.
The music is fine, you just have to listen to the notes that aren't being played.

The game somebody said was Kid Kool wasn't actually Kid Kool, at least not directly. It was more of a semi-rip off of Kid Kool called Psycho Fox. I ironically played through most of the Sonic romhack/bootleg version back in like 2004.
