COLD temperature test for the 1996 Retro Nuptse! Vancouver recently had a pretty extreme cold wave with -14 -17 temperature which is not common in this area. Perfect time for a COLD TEST! When I purchased the Nuptse at the Vancouver store, I was told by the staff that they don't put a temperature rating for jackets.
When did you buy this jacket ? I read that in the last year the North Face reduce the padding into this specifically jacket and it's not warm like before and it doesn't worth the investment
@@francescopaladino7311 is that what happened? i notice theres some inconsistency. some guys have theirs that look more flat but others look way more full. not sure whats up with that
@@francescopaladino7311 hola estoy de acuerdo contigo, ayer me llego una retro nuptse back y es mas delgada, igual se infla pero el alcolchado es mas liviano y tengo otra retro nuptse blue la compre el 2019 y es mas gruesa y abrigadora Aun asi voy la retro 2023 es mas liviana igual la probare con mas capaz y vere que tal.👕

Hi. This is the 2023 Nuptse. I don't have any knowledge of the older Nuptses. It is very light weight. Maybe the older versions were heavier?

Did you have issues with the size guide on the TNF website? It told me I needed an XL, when a large was plenty big.
