Regarding the taped door handle on the Dodge Journey: Sometimes the spray-on chrome on these handles starts to separate and in doing so forms a knife-sharp edge. One common way people address this to avoid accidental lacerations is to tape over the chrome.
Chrysler has not made a good car in years
The dodge journeys are terrible. There known for not being very reliability

Durango gets horrible gas mileage, but it is a nice vehicle. Thanks for looking at the Chrysler/Dodge vehicles!
Decent 2015 Durango be great tow vehicle if it was a V8 Hemi not V6 engine

All three vehicles you showed has the 3.6 V6, the journey might have an oil cooler issue and not a bad head gasket.
I have a 13 jeep JK. Problems with the 3.6 started @ 55000 mi.and now 66000.
high pressure fuel line cracked and started leaking.
Bolt in the head for an oil galley for the cam came loose and wound up in a safe spot with no damage. It threw codes for cam sensor bank two, replaced the sensor and that's when I discovered the loose bolt. Fixed with loctite.
Oil cooler failed and caused coolant to leak severely to where the engine overheated and I needed it towed.
Thermostat threw code and needed to be replaced.
Now there's a new code for oil pressure sensor stuck open and it's in the oil pump. That's my next repair to perform within the last two years.
I still love my Jeep even though I never worked on a car so much since my Mustang II in the 80s 🤦♂🤦♂😂😂🤣🤣
About time someone had a Journey on. I loved mine and would have bought another one if I could find one. It was the best riding and good overall performance. I don't particularly care for the 4 cylinder because it is lacking in power, the 3.6 is much better. Unfortunately mine got taken by a winter weather scurscuffle , I now have a Pacifica and even with all the fancy options I would take my Journey over it any day

I rented one of these back in 2014 the same color. It was a good vehicle. Not sure I would own one.
The Chrysler 300 is good only for spares and the body to the crusher😢
