Yes you can use Boiled Linseed Oil like you find at Lowes or Home Depot on the plastic parts. I use it on wood as a finish and metal to preserve it. I have found that you will have to apply another coat after about a year depending on exposure to the sun and weather. I found another product that I used to rejuvenate the plastic shutters on my house and it has stood up the weather very well. The name of that product is Flood and I'm going to apply it to the bumper and see how it last.
