Now we are continuously picking up/disposing of trash dumped on our property. Building materials/old paint. Our neighbors don't care...they just want their Amazon deliveries on time.

One of the lessons that he said he learned from his dog was that when you’re going for a ride with a friend, it doesn’t really matter where you’re going, it’s all about the ride with the friend.

You dont roll up on a camp in the woods without calling out. there is nothing wrong with shooting the breeze, trading information and even asking if its ok to set up next door. But for cryin out loud, there is likely a reason someone went out into the bush alone to camp for the weekend Toby is a handsome and smart fellow. I took him for a walk and he was stopping to pee every 3 minutes!! I had Mandi take him into the Vet on Tuesday. He has a UTI...poor guy...but I found out he weighs 51 pounds! He will be 6 months old in a few weeks. I wonder how much bigger he will get. He is a short ball of muscle.

Cats are notorious for this (I have 12), so you have to really zero in on any little misstep to be sure it’s not a something vs they’re just being weird that day. No, 12 cats aren’t running amok in the house. We built a 500 sq ft catio for them, so they basically have their own atrium, and can run in and out all day.
You must be a kind loving patient person to car for 12 cats. I bet they love their home you created for them! I have a house cat, and so does Mandi. It's nice how independent they can be... but they will definitely let you know when it's cuddle time.

My wife just had shoulder surgery for very similar reasons. It was a day surgery, and with PT it has healed up rather quickly. I think you should be good :) Poor Toby though, lol
Walking through a campsite in the middle of a public campground is one thing. Walking through somebody's campsite, with your dog, out in the middle of the woods is completely something else. Common courtesy.. if you pull up to a spot and somebody else is already there set up.. At least ask...
I was sitting in a tractor cab & it was crazy how fast that smoke came in. I watched a video a farmer up in Canada posted & the smoke was terrible. They couldn't see a quarter mile at times. I hope we will not have to put up with this smoke all summer long like last year.
Let's hope not! They could use a break up there. The smok did roll in quickly. It was blue sky's one minute and hazy the next. The chemical smell was nauseating.

Hi! We are from Alberta, Canada and we had smoke this past weekend as well. Fort McMurray in Alberta and Fort Nelson in British Columbia have massive wildfires burning. Rest assured it is not a house fire, Kenny. That smoke is actually coming from British Columbia Canada. Wildfires there are starting earlier than last year. My late husband would only make percolator coffee when we camped. Look for the filters made for percolator coffee pots, they are a life saver for cleanup. Usually found with other types of filters at the grocery store. I would then remove and burn in the campfire to help rid of mosquitoes. Thanks for your videos and loving to see Toby grow and thrive.
@@KennyOfAllTrades My wife and I both commented the same, filters, we get these square filters with center and corner holes work in the basket great, next a stainless coffee scoop we leave in the coffee can. One scoop per 2 cups. Usually in the aisles next to coffee.

Hey Kenny! Great to see you and Toby back in the woods doing what you do best! Every dog I’ve ever made part of my family was a rescue from a shelter! Those poor dogs need loving homes too! A lot of them suffer from neglect and abuse and they just want to be loved! So for those of you reading this comment, ADOPT don’t shop! I promise you that you won’t regret it! I rescued 4 German Shepherds with 1 hour to spare before they we’re scheduled to be euthanized and they have been the best dogs! Thank you Kenny for giving Toby a loving home and a second chance!

And bless you for thinking of him being in smoke: dogs senses are so much keener than ours. Every dog we have ever had has been a shelter dog who has rescued us. If you have a favorite potato salad that you sometimes buy from a store, try that for something different between bread or even in a wrap should work fine too, it may sound odd to do that but makes for a very quick tasty meal and you could certainly add pickles etc to it.
@@KennyOfAllTrades Just please don't put peanut butter on the bread at the same time LOL ( if you recall a specialty of yours that I tried that involved peanut butter and meat, well ... lets just say that wasn't my thing, but that's ok )

That reminds me, I forgot that way back going to grade school sometimes I would get a hamburger sandwich as my mom would cook extra hamburgers and hers were not real big in diameter but were thick so sliced sideways in half to thin it out in that case and put between bread ( obviously cold then ) and whatever condiments such as ketchup etc. So again something that might interest you if lets say you had extra burgers cooked from a night or two before stored in the fridge and easy to put that between bread and whatever else you put in with it such as cheese etc. At least that way its real meat vs mystery processed meat and its quick to make with no cooking prep on the spot.

Thanks! Yes, I have been having issues with my arm locking in place. It doesn't happen often. It's a shooting pain when it happens. The way to get the arm unlocked is by pulling against it. An x-ray showed a broken bone floating in the rotator. The MRI will show more. Hopefully, it's not an intrusive repair.
Theres nothing more rewarding and enjoyable than a trained dog. Makes life so peaceful ... Toby is a total hunk! I love his little face❤

Percolator coffee is one of the many joys of camping! Pickles absolutely belong in egg salad but I agree with Mandy, Miracle Whip is a hard no.
I have used it in over a year. I forgot how it brings out more flavor without being bitter. I'm going to be using it more often.

Hey Kenny! Great to see you and Toby back in the woods doing what you do best! Every dog I’ve ever made part of my family was a rescue from a shelter! Those poor dogs need loving homes too! A lot of them suffer from neglect and abuse and they just want to be loved! So for those of you reading this comment, ADOPT don’t shop! I promise you that you won’t regret it! I rescued 4 German Shepherds with 1 hour to spare before they we’re scheduled to be euthanized and they have been the best dogs! Thank you Kenny for giving Toby a loving home and a second chance!

Toby is so Sweet! He stays with you and is so chill; you were so lucky to get such a calm doggie; some pups are so hyper! And bless you for thinking of him being in smoke: dogs senses are so much keener than ours. Every dog we have ever had has been a shelter dog who has rescued us.

If you have a favorite potato salad that you sometimes buy from a store, try that for something different between bread or even in a wrap should work fine too, it may sound odd to do that but makes for a very quick tasty meal and you could certainly add pickles etc to it.

@@KennyOfAllTrades Just please don't put peanut butter on the bread at the same time LOL ( if you recall a specialty of yours that I tried that involved peanut butter and meat, well ... lets just say that wasn't my thing, but that's ok )

@@KennyOfAllTrades I like all those ingredients, just not at the same time though !. That reminds me, I forgot that way back going to grade school sometimes I would get a hamburger sandwich as my mom would cook extra hamburgers and hers were not real big in diameter but were thick so sliced sideways in half to thin it out in that case and put between bread ( obviously cold then ) and whatever condiments such as ketchup etc. So again something that might interest you if lets say you had extra burgers cooked from a night or two before stored in the fridge and easy to put that between bread and whatever else you put in with it such as cheese etc. At least that way its real meat vs mystery processed meat and its quick to make with no cooking prep on the spot.

Thanks! Yes, I have been having issues with my arm locking in place. It doesn't happen often. It's a shooting pain when it happens. The way to get the arm unlocked is by pulling against it. An x-ray showed a broken bone floating in the rotator. The MRI will show more. Hopefully, it's not an intrusive repair.
Also Toby is getting so darn handsome. I love his ears.
