I'm new to the channel. A very interesting and original idea, I love it! Kudos to whoever built the platform, it looks as solid and sturdy as a train station platform.
I've actually helped when my family put up grain bins like this on our farm. These guys use jacks to lift the bin, we used a crane. This will be a big home.
That's what I miss. I'm in the trades. Bunch of older gentlemen no egos just there to work. And proud of what you built. I'm 62. All you seen now adays is egoes. Younger people trying to tell you already what you been doin for years.
Can’t wait to see your magic transform this silo into your home. It’s going to be amazing. Your deck, yes it’s built well. We know your carpentry work. 👊🏻🥰
I hope you get some advice when designing and building the inside. You like to “wing it” as you say a lot! Mistakes can be very costly. Just saying professional help (just like the ones putting the bin up) can save lots of money on end results. Making this a two story home, it will be huge! Can’t wait to see it finished.
This work crew is awesome. You can tell they have worked together and fine tuned this process. Greatly enjoyed watching it grow. The continued building of your home is going to be just as awesome!! 🎉❤
This is awesome! I'm really excited with this one. Two stories, you could do your guys' bedroom & a nursery upstairs & the kitchen, bath & living area downstairs! Building a bay window coming out with the bench seat would be sweet wherever the best view's at! Oh the possibilities are endless! The deck is nice size for it, love it all!! Can't wait to see what you guys do! Yay!!
I can't wait to see what it looks like when you guys get started. I am so excited for you guys!. You were finally getting what you guys want. Congrats!❤️❤️
That thing is MASSIVE! Great job on the Deck. NOW.... to build the appropriate house around that thing.... with that "feature", the house should be really cool! One thing though - you are going to have to add additional decking for the house foundation. It needs to be footed and stable in the same manner as this deck was. That little lady of yours deserves MORE than a Tiny House, Jason. Kids at some point - fingers crossed on that.
It just kept getting taller and taller, wow amazing how they do it, never seen anything like this ever. Super excited to see what you turn it into. Amazing.
Being a bin builder for about 10 years in late 70's early 80's we could build 2 bins this size in a day granted all 4 of us ..were in our 20's but it is interesting to see how other people do things. Never built one for a tiny house. I wish you the best and can't wait to see how it turns out
Never have I known twins so completely different in their life styles! One very laid back, organized, plans ahead and takes each step toward the plan, enjoys gardening, etc. the other wild ideas, never finishes a project completely before starting another one, good at building and clearing land. Well, what is IS! Both interesting …
I'm dyslexic and very ADD and it's hard to stay focused. But on the other hand, I'm extremely creative. I like playing music, art, building and creating things from wild ideas in my head. Jared was always book smart, lived a more "normal" lifestyle and "stayed in the lines, rather than thought outside the box". Twins, but complete opposites
I wish the two of you the best of luck building your future home. Just remember, you have an 81-year-old man living in Las Vegas, living vicariously through you, and loving every minute of it. I did subscribe.
Boy, this brought back memories. In my mid to late teen(late 70s) I helped my dad build many grain bins just like this here in middle Georgia…(granted though, not for living space. lol). One time, dad was cranking one of the lifting jacks and didn’t realize it wasn’t fully engaged when he let go. The runaway jack handle spun around and broke his hand. Will keep up with y’all’s progress. Very cool project.
It's looking Great guys!!!! And your decision to do a wood deck is perfect as there is an interaction with concrete and galvanized metal it causes it to rust unless a membrane is put down on the bottom of the bin. We are 4th generation cattle ranchers and put galvanized water tanks on concrete needless to say they did not last long..
Omg, love it, l could totally live in it. It will be so cool designing the layout on the inside, where windows and doors will be. This is going to be fun and exciting for you both.👍❤
Hey guy's just saw a silo finished and it was beautiful. It might be a little bigger but great!! It was called Grain Silo Converted to Luxury Tiny House.. It is in Ga and its called Journey More. Thought you could check it out for idea's. I love you guy's been watching for I don't know 3 or 4 years. Just thought I would share what I saw. Can't hurt to check it out. Know that you guy's are prayed for. You guy's work so hard and been through so much I just feel your part of my family. I would love to do what you guys are doing but I am 81 yrs old and too old to do it now. I do enjoy watching you all. Keep strong and don't give up on your dreams!!
A grain bin is a very different structure than a silo. Grain bins hold grain, silos hold sileage; these are very different materials with different uses. Sileage is used to feed cattle. Grain is used to make flour, cereals, and food for people, as well as being able to be cracked and ground/mixed for livestock feed.
11:30 saw the vid earlier and I can tell ya, I'm so dang excited to see this house of yours finally coming to light ❤. Truly the beginning to the second chapter of your journey and I can't wait to see you guys making this home all yours together. 💕 you guys !!💯
Jason I have been watching your channel for years and I sure hope you guys made the right choice on your forever home but me personally Lambo has a very good place to live Click bait out. !!
Wow! This crew works like a well-oiled machine! So awesome to see skilled workers do their thing. Very exciting to see your dream come into fruition. Looking forward to experiencing your journey
I’ve been dreaming of making a grain bin my forever home! I’ve been planning for a year or so. I’m so glad you are doing this and documenting it! Thank you!
Fantastic! The guy and his crew that erected it had it going on! I am very happy for you and Danielle! II can't wait to see you start the interior framing. The deck you guys built was over the top!
Great build guys , nice to see these grain stores get a second life, as we have the same style in West Sussex, and they let them rot . Cant wait to see the fit out, Best crew ive seen in a long time , they let there actions speak a thousand words .
This is going to be such a cool home for you guys! The possibilities are endless. I had never heard of this before but now I am obsessed with grain bin videos on TH-cam!
❤ WOW this build was amazing. I was getting tired of the homestead venue. The new comers were making me fall asleep watching them. Then here comes Jason n Danielle waking me up with another masterful build. I love you guys and can't wait to see more.
I have one that I am thinking about renovating, it’s definitely over 50 years old but looks in good shape. Is about the same size as y’all’s. Will be watching this several times over
I am so excited I can’t wait to see the finished on the inside and outside. It’s going to blow everyone away when they come by. It’s going to be beautiful when you guys get it all done.
You did a great job on this video. It was an absolute blast putting this bin up for you two. That deck was a great idea, very sturdy. I hope you enjoy the bin, and I can't wait to see what you do with it. After watching a few of your videos, I know that, for a fact, it will be awesome. Please don't hesitate to reach out. Always happy to help in any way.
This is so cool, I have seen grain silo/bins being repurposed into new homes before but haven’t actually been inside one. Not sure if I would like one for myself, but it all depends on how things look when I manage to actually visit one personally…
Oh my goodness, this IS REAL, now are you ready, Danielle and Jason? ❤❤❤❤ you can do it, I know that you can!!!! Windows and doors, ceilings and floors, Let's Go!!
Jason that is awesome…you will have a unique fabulous home in ther… can’t wait to see wer you two decide on what to do inside it…wer to put windows…stairs next floor and what you will do with the top…put a lot of windows in the top and have a sun room with lots of plants…a spiral staircase…my mind is running away with me…im so excited for you both ❤
We are so excited to see what you and Danielle can do with the silo. Noticed there's a trap door in the roof. You could build a deck at the top and use the trap door to go out on the deck.
What an awesome video brother,I have never seen nothing like this before, really impressed with the video, congrats on a cool soon to be home, can't wait to see your ideas on your home
Hey Jason and Danyelle, It’s been a while since I contacted you however, I see y’all are putting together a really great cool house and I just wanted to shoot an idea past you. If you haven’t looked on TH-cam, look up rocket mass heaters. The reason I say this is because of the shape of your house and if you insulate it right Rocket mass heater would very efficiently heat your house and I know it gets cold up there in Oklahoma. Also, you’ll be able to cool it rather easily with a mini split system more than likely if you insulate it with some kind of spray insulation, like you know spray foam, anyway, this is your chance to do it right from the beginning since it is your forever house. You guys are great. Love y’all.
That was so interesting watching it go up! Very educational too. Now the fun part begins for you guys. But I’m sure you and Danielle are going to make it a beautiful home.❤️ Can’t wait!
WOW! This is going to be awesome to observe!🎉🎉🎉❤❤ what a true challenge to work on a circular structure! Moving forward is going to be a really fun watch! It would be incredible to have a ton of vertical windows surrounding the top, you’d have an observation tower!🎉
I loved this video and I want one of those. It is awesome . I’m happy for y’all and looking forward t9 seeing what kind of design you and Danielle come up with. It so many things you can do with those. Windows, big and small, upstairs deck , add ons later own as you grow you family. I’m just anxious to see whatever you choose to do, you CROCKERS have a good eye for design. Congratulations to you both. Much Love❤️❤️
Congratulations Jason and Danielle on your new grain silo. I know with out a doubt that you two will renovate this grain silo into a beautiful home. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Until next time.
You sure had a dream team erecting up that Silo bin. They did a great job. I can't wait till you guys start working on the inside interior . I'm so happy for you guys
This was fantastic. Thank you for taking us along to see how one is built. Watching you could tell they worked amazingly together. Bless you and Danielle in the steps ahead.
Hello fellow Okies! Never would think to turn a grain bin into a tiny house… having been in many on our family farm, that is the last thing I would have thought to turn the old bins into! That thing is tall enough you could have three stories!!!!
That was very cool to watch!! They have it down to a science and are very efficient!!! Had no clue that was how it would go up!! Congratulations, this is a big deal for y’all!! Time to finish it up and make her uniquely yours!!! Looking forward to following the journey and cheering you on!!
Awesome, I’m so happy for you guys! And I can’t wait to see how you build it out. Be interesting to see how they seal it on the outside where they put it together and how you will insulate it, I’m assuming maybe spray insulation? Thank you for letting us be part of your journey cause I bet not many have actually seen these built. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Jason and Danielle. Sorry I missed the Premiere, had no internet. My husband and I just watched the replay, that was crazy how they did it. Hats off to that building crew. Now for the building inside, can't wait to see what and how you going to do that. Congratulations on your new HOME. Love you both💕💕
I think this would make a great “indoor pool” house. Put some windows in by inserting culvert pipe so that there are “awnings” over the windows, and a glass dome at the tip top of the roof.
Ain't gonna lie, That's one cool grain bin. It's gonna be a challenge but so much fun converting this into a home. Good luck with the build Jason and Danielle!
Really enjoyed the video. I took one down just like this one about 20 years ago and is still sitting out here in pieces. Thought I had to build a concrete foundation for it and never had the extra money to do it. Never thought about a wood foundation till I seen your's. Mine is a 5 ring but the panels stood taller so looks to be about the same. Had the same idea thet you are doing here. Big enough to make a nice two story home.
Love the concept ! Seen a few variations , two with a stick frame sunroom in between , one that I saw was massive and they actually also had a custom round bin garage .
Congratulations! I can already imagine what you guys will do with it. It will definitely be unique. I’m looking forward to seeing every step of the way! ❤
I'm new to the channel. A very interesting and original idea, I love it! Kudos to whoever built the platform, it looks as solid and sturdy as a train station platform.

This will be a big home.
I am so excited I hope everyone comes to see this tonight and blows this channel away. It looks perfect on the platform Jason and Danielle built.
Wow.. .not that's something to think about ?. But these wind storms and snow in Buffalo hummmm don't if it would work???
I love it when tge repoupose old things.😊
That's what I miss. I'm in the trades. Bunch of older gentlemen no egos just there to work. And proud of what you built. I'm 62. All you seen now adays is egoes. Younger people trying to tell you already what you been doin for years.

I love these guys just having mastery of their craft, they are synchronized like dancers. No talking, just quietly doing their thing.
This work crew is awesome. You can tell they have worked together and fine tuned this process. Greatly enjoyed watching it grow. The continued building of your home is going to be just as awesome!! 🎉❤

This is the house. They do grain bins 2 story and fixed up inside just like a regular home, it's gonna be super nice when they finish 💯
@TiffanySmith-ed2lj They said they are already working on it 😂
@TiffanySmith-ed2lj They may choose not to have them. Their call. Sometimes nature steps in..
@TiffanySmith-ed2ljthey talk about kids all the time 🤷🏻♀️
We need to have a lot of kids to outpace the amount of illegals coming in, or we will be a minority in 10 years.
This is interesting. I can image how cool it sounds when it’s raining
Can you imagine being happy for someone every day it doesn't rain.
It just kept getting taller and taller, wow amazing how they do it, never seen anything like this ever. Super excited to see what you turn it into. Amazing.

Can't wait to see how you both fix it up and make it your home. I love it.

@@RMMomma4Eva cool
This was great to watch. I had no idea how these were built. How exciting!!!!!
I’ve seen these finished as homes and they’re pretty cool!
Oh my goodness, this IS REAL, now are you ready, Danielle and Jason? ❤❤❤❤ you can do it, I know that you can!!!! Windows and doors, ceilings and floors, Let's Go!!

I'm so glad I saw this about the wood deck before I went ahead and had a round concrete pad poured. Thanks for sharing!
So Happy for you guys 😃 😊😘 can't wait for the next video ❤ God bless you always 🥰☺️🥰☺️🥰☺️🙏
This is absolutely amazing. Hope y'all will be very happy living in this when it's got walls and windows in it. Good luck 😊✌🏻
Hey Jason and Danyelle,
It’s been a while since I contacted you however, I see y’all are putting together a really great cool house and I just wanted to shoot an idea past you. Love y’all.
Spray foam can not be applied when it is cold.
Great job Jason and Daniel I hope to see you two build something you can be proud of 🤩
That was so interesting watching it go up! Very educational too. Now the fun part begins for you guys. But I’m sure you and Danielle are going to make it a beautiful home.❤️ Can’t wait!
So so so happy for y’all !!! I can feel your excitement! Good job with your decision to make a home out of a grain bin! ❤
WOW! This is going to be awesome to observe!🎉🎉🎉❤❤ what a true challenge to work on a circular structure! Moving forward is going to be a really fun watch! It would be incredible to have a ton of vertical windows surrounding the top, you’d have an observation tower!🎉
Jason and Danielle it was awesome the way it was put together.
This is so awesome watching them put this together I can’t wait to see when it’s all done excited for you and Danielle

QUE SORPRESA DE TINY HOUSE LES VA HA QUEDAR PRECIOSA❤ ME ENCANTA SALUDOS JASONS Y DANIELLE❤
I think it's a great idea to refurbish into a tiny home. It already looks way better than a box. Plus the height would be a definite advantage
I love this and can’t wait to see what you do with it. I’ve always loved seeing pictures of these finished.
This was fantastic. Thank you for taking us along to see how one is built. Watching you could tell they worked amazingly together. Bless you and Danielle in the steps ahead.

It looks amazing so happy for you both congratulations ❤❤❤❤
I think the barn you had before was terrific. Shop could match that look of the old barn.
