    Great questions! People should definitely consider all of this when deciding on whether or not they want to be a personal trainer. Perhaps it's the entrepreneurial spirit in me from being a martial art school owner, but I was able to answer "yes" to every question. Great video, keep up the great work!

      @@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation Awesome video. Hence why I want to get my pension first and then pursue this ..I love to cook and cook all types of food . Was wondering how does nutrition work wirh clients? Not being a nutritonst or dietician what can you do and not do? I love to cook for people. Do alot of meal prep ..I think this would be a big part of my value . And as we know nutriton is everything! Thanks

    I do personal training part-time and could personally never see myself doing it full-time for the reasons mentioned in the video. Having a stable 9-5 with great benefits and doing training for 10-20 hours a week is a perfect balance for me. I do respect the full-time trainers, though, it's quite the hustle!

    I like doing my own think and the freedom that comes with it. Me going full time is the correct move for me. Plus I like the adventure that entrepreneurship brings.

    Thank you for your honesty! I think having it as a part time while pursuing online training is what I would like to do. I definitely don’t mind the entrepreneurial Side of it, since I already love it!

      It sounds like you’re making the right moves! Online training can be a great long term option. I think you’ll be happy you did some in-person stuff as well!

    Very good video for providing trainers and potential trainers clarity on whether or not this is right for them and helping them set realistic expectations. I wish I had seen this before becoming a trainer

    Can you do another video on programming? Specifically how to be more efficient with it...do you do all of your clients’ programs weekly or by phase? I love part time personal training but I feel like the programming is taking me forever and I’d love any tips on how to lessen that side of it. Thank you! Love your content!

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting! I like the idea and there definitely could be another video there! If we’re talking about in-person training, you write up sessions as you go. Things change week to week and day to day.
      We have a phasing system that changes the way the workouts look every six weeks or so though. All of that is already broken down in our current programming videos.

    Great video! I have a question. How do you go about nutrition with clients when they don’t want to track food? I’ve had people come to be saying they want to lose x amount of pounds but aren’t willing to track food on something like My Fitness Pal. What do you do with someone like that? Thanks!

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, some clients just won’t track their food, even if it’s the best thing for them. It’s annoying but it’s a thing. I basically just follow a whole bunch of other strategies at that point like: using PN’s portion guide, monitoring water intake, increasing protein, etc.
      I break it all down in the later part of this video: th-cam.com/video/QxR9kL4MYU0/w-d-xo.html

    Hi I was wondering if you could make a video or give a recommendation on how to deal with clients with nausea and vomiting. I understand it's a gross topic to cover in a video but at least a recommendation or a past experience would be very helpful for me and other.

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, out of the thousands of sessions I’ve done I’ve only had like 2-3 times where clients threw up. All of those times the client was either hung over from the night before or they ate something weird before the session.
      I probably won’t make a video on that because it should barely ever happen. That being said, there may be some similar topics that make sense. Thanks! I’ll start to brainstorm!

    Do you have a video on how to do it as a sidle hustle? Is it just a matter of having enough clientele to cover rental and make some income, but still holding down a secondary job?

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t have a full video on it, but that’s not a bad idea! That’s pretty much the approach I would take though. I would only quit my other, non training job, once my training job could at least come close to paying all of the bills.
