Great video! Careful clipping off to those diagonal bracings on the G2 stages. I've seen them buckle with just the weight of a big guy jumping on them.
whoo good to know. I always thought they looked bomber with the steel pins in the end, guess the aluminum is thinner than I thought! Pretty sure I've got a G2 coming through next month, and we just had Foo and Kane brown back to back on the same G2 structure.
Why didn't they rig all the points before raising the grid? most of the stage tower setups i have seen were done that way so the top riggers had to spend minimal time in the grid.
I've only seen that done once or twice in the last few years in my city. Timing has to work out perfectly between steel and production load ins. We also just did a back to back show, Kane Brown night 1, Foo Fighters night 2. Would not have been practical to drop the roof. Those G2 roofs are a little annoying to climb around in, but it's not an incredibly long pull. May as well climb!
In az we have people who brag about doing meth on the grid. Rather have a pot head then a drunk or a knoter up there. Those Bluetooth speakers hurt when they fall

why don't you use the Oring to connect the basket to the hook chain?

Maybe the tour coming in was not shipping out their motor package in advance of their actual production load in.
