As someone who grew up loving the Koopalings as bosses, I absolutely adore this song! Each section captures that Koopaling perfectly and the mechanic of dodging their attacks is really clever! This song is incredible and is easily one of my favorites in history!
Dk why, but I'm imagining like a Pokemix/Pokemon cover of this song titled "Gym Leaders", where Red takes place of Mario and Kanto's Gym Leaders do the same with the Koopalings (except Roy, because both Koga and Sabrina are taking his place due to a 7 to 8 ratio and both of them having the same level cap)
I’d like to see that, with the Bowser’s Castle motifs being replaced by Battle theme motifs and a new gimmick. What that gimmick would be I don’t know, but it would still be interesting!
@thepainpanda7681 gym leader battle theme (either RBY or FRLG) yes, as for the new gimmick, in my head probably timing Gym Leader's attacks via Protect with Red's Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur just to not take heavy damage to your HP bar (it recovers every note you tap)
its hard af to keep an eye on the arrows, press them and at the same time having to press spacebar while looking at the attacks, im awful with spacebar mechanics i was fighting for my life 😭
Morton's bit goes so hard. I love the animations, especially Wendy dancing. Not sure why Ludwig's wand is floating around though, is he supposed to be psychic or something there?
