    What a beautiful area! Love the elephant and golf course. It seems to be very peaceful! Quite the contrast with volcanoes. Thank you for sharing!

    Oh I've seen the elephant rock on so many videos but I never knew it was in Iceland. That's amazing. It does so look like a petrified elephant. Thank you always. The Lord be with you in your travels. Amen

    Islands have a very special and unique thing that I cannot explained, kind of magic. Is it because I am an islander or is it the truth? 👍❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

    Beautiful! I love hearing the sound of the ocean. I live so very far from the Pacific ocean. It would take me 2 days to get there. Appreciate your videos!

    Very interesting and beautiful country. Interesting looking giant sea caves. I suppose it's enjoy the green while it lasts time of year. It looks like when the lave comes to cover the highway, it will probably happen fast. Amazing elephant likeness. I'm surprised not to see some kayaker's out on the water having fun.

    There was a place on the AZ side of the Hoover dam that was is called Temple Bar where these huge rocks came up out of the water.
    I'm sure it is a sandbar today with the serious drought that has hit the Colorado river. Anyway, those huge stones made me think about them.
    I have always wondered what kind of archeology records lie under all that sand. That's another chapter in life. Thank you for sharing your beautiful country.

    Thank you, Roman. For any potential visitor to the Westman Islands a word of advice - stay longer, do not come for a few hours as we did. And bring your car from the mainland, which we failed to do.

      Good for you. I am refusing it too. A few of us need to be around to bury them all when they die in a year or two....lol

      @@jimderksen1653 We could all be in for a rough ride and we best be developing our very close, personal relationship with with Jesus! No one can do it for us. A gift so lovingly given and we just have to surrender our pride and receive Him. Brings the tears after all of these years!! Yes, we may be burying so many!! I am in a battle with cancer and never dreamed so many may beat me home!!

    I suppose that's one way to try to distract your golf partner during his tee-off.
    "Oh, look! It's an Indian elephant!"

    Wondering if there are any trees in Iceland..in peoples ' gardens? It looks like you are too far north for trees to grow in the wild on their own.

    • @Nattfridur
      @Nattfridur 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Viking settlers cut down almost all the wild trees long ago. (Scientists say there were around 30% of Iceland covered with forests before.)
      Thanks to reforestation the forests grew from the remaining 0,4% to 1,9% over the last decades. But it will need a lot of time.
