You're very good at selecting interesting video topics. Thanks for sharing your creativity. I think Zertz looks very cool. Wondered if Santorini had a chance of showing up. Finally, I wanted to mention a game I have not played but which has always looked so intriguing in its elegant simplicity to me -- Sol: Last Days of a Star. If you've played it I'd love to know your thoughts.

I've actually never gotten around to trying Santorini. I'd not hear of Sol, but I had a look on BGG and it is definitely looks interesting.

I like the space games but I think the b5 wars game was the best in my opinion...would like a reboot with painted ships like the star wars and Battle star galactica game but its so long out of print I'm not holding my breath :-) some great choices especially if you like big boards :-)

I'll try again just in case lol :-) it had ship sheets like battletech...it was a space game with realistic physics (as much as possible) it had inertia, gravity drives that allowed special manouvers and defence grids rather than shields...it was complex but brilliant...you could play all the races including the league of non aligned worlds with each race playing very differently due to there unique technology...we made a huge space map on hex paper and developed a campaign where each player chose a race and developed fleets, trade routes, hired mercenaries and tried to build an empire in space with the ancient races appearing at random to mess with your day...there was so much more to it but hard to explain it here but I have fond memories of the game...I found out that the dilgar war was harder than we think as they won the campaign overall due to their massive fighter carriers (the fighters were deadly by the way)..it was a really good game that didn't get the love it deserved :-)

@@lukedudley5030 very interesting. I love games that work in realistic physics engines.

@@TheBoardGameKaptain yeah the movement was one of the hardest things to get your head around...once at speed you didn't slow until you put energy into the opposite direction...you could pivot whilst constantly going forward to point at the ship in your rear...stuff like that...the gravity drives from the menbari were even more complex but once you understood it you could pull off some impressive actions (circle your target without your nose ever leaving them)...like I said complex but brilliant :-)
