I am 82, and my vocabulary has shrunk! I love a well spoken person, and I am determined to incorporate again these common words into my writing and conversations! Blessings ❤
I used to think that my English was almost perfect, my English teacher from Moscow, Russia once told: dear don’t overestimate your abilities. Where on Earth have you learned that. I decently answered that a gentleman from England was my teacher from the U.K. She asked me does he looked good? My reply was quick and simple - My teacher gave me a good piece of advice said: young one When and if you happen to get older do it with dignity and honour. Never tint your beard with dye. Get older and wiser with dignity ❤ May God almighty be with you and yours sir! 🙏
i've taken the ielts a week ago. definitely gave me a confidence boost to know i am CEFR C1 level. i really thought i flunked the speaking subtest cause i started stuttering at the end since i was anxious during the 3rd part topic about politics. i wasn't sure what to say however i comforted myself whenever i feel intimidated with the questions being thrown at me. i don't need to have an answer that the examiner agrees with rather i should focus how i express and deliver my thoughts clearly that they can comprehend. i continued the conversation like talking to a colleague and got a speaking score of 8.

Dear Harry, I can not emphasise enough how much I enjoyed listening to this particular lesson, I.e. adjectives. I am certainly going to make time listening to it again. Many thanks.
I just happen to come across this video and I'm so glad it was recommend to me. It is funny how these words are level C1 but they're easy for us, Portuguese speakers. I guess that is because they both came from Latin. Immense: imenso Dubious: dúbio Destitute: destituído Frivolous: frívolo Evocative: evocar (verb) And so on... Thanks sir for this awesome list 😊
Your lesson intensifies my understanding of English language. The vocabulary you teach are so well contexualised that can be easily understood. Congrats, Harry.
Thank you for all your lessons. It is a little difficult for me to learn new vocabulary words but, the way you explain your lessons and the examples you give us, reinforce the learning of new words. I deeply appreciate it.
I've heard or come across to most of those words before. But I only know just the hang of it without knowing the exact meaning for many of those vocabularies. For eg. I know that affluent and affable are something positive but I can't explain it. Thanks for clarifying those meaning with clear and easy to digest tone. Those examples help a ton too.
I knew 3 of them: gullible - from the movie "back to the future" (don't be so gullible mcfly), immense - I met in a book, petrified - youtube if I remember correctly. Four more I heard: rusty, plausible, dexterous, elaborate (I feel like it was a verb...) but didn't know the meaning (only guessed). Others are completely new. I think I will put all 17 words in the list to learn, why not? They are great. Thanks!!!
Thank you soo much ❣️❣️ I appreciate your work. Not everyone can afford to have a private teacher in English and you help people like me.god bless you❤️💛
First time listening to your videos and its didn't take me time to subscribe because of the way you were explaining it in detail. Thank you so much. I learnt new words today 🤝🙂

I don't know if the problem is I don't have the ideas or the motivation, or maybe the organization or the patience. But English is hard I've notice that the exams of English is more difficult that science or native language topic. For me(in my case) , I gave up but I continue listening anyways. I liked your video of "want", sounds so basic to use it. My English is kind of Spanish.
