WOW ! Now I see the reason for the high labor charge.. Well done guys. I'm a retired certified auto tech, thought I would tackle the job myself ,,, NO WAY. Got too do a rear fender eliminator and rad protector @ the same time.
@@turbobike749 I've been looking all over the web for you guys with no success, do you have a website or address? Unfortunately I don't use Facebook as Twitter. Regards, Karl. kgwillie@gmail.com
The poor ole ZXR... I better do something to this bike soon before i get hate mail...... Very complicated bikes these days, but also so clever in what they can do for the rider. Imagine life in another 10 or 20 years ! Bikes will be crazy smart.
Thanks Dave. Still getting therapy after fitting that exhaust. BIG job ! More V4 Stuff this Friday, then 900SS stuff and might even have another look at that Kawasaki turbo too.
I love these videos. 2 questions I hope you can answer. 1.- both O2 sensors are reconnected? 2.- why you decided to take out baffles and install the conic one? Thanks!
Great video! It appears the radiator is quite easy to take off? I have a 2021 V4s Panigale and want to remove my radiator to install the radiator guards (my previous V4 to install rad guards with the radiator on the bike was a nightmare). Any tips or tricks when removing the radiator?
Hi Andrew. I suppose it is up to the dealer fitting it what they charge. Massive job to install it and if you didn't charge for it to be fitted ..... it could be most of the profit in the new bike sale. We just tried to do it for a fair price
Sounds incredible. So many videos don't convey the sound well but your one does a great job. You installed the full Titanium system hems the 10 hour install. Do you know if the Slip On version of the same make, same mufflers, just no titanium pipes sounds close to the same?
Hi Doug, the slip ons sound good too. Glad you liked the vid. Feels like it took longer to make vid than to fit the exhaust ! Mufflers easier to fit. Full system is massive job !
@@turbobike749Cheers. I put down a deposit on a SFV4S a few weeks ago. Not arriving til September. Have requested a number of mods, the Akrapovic slips on being one of them. They say slip-ons still take a bit of time.
If that was me doing the install I would have a few nuts and bolts and parts left over LOLOL. Then say yeah nah you dont need that. Sell those parts. LOL. All kidding aside. If given the choice of doing the Akra install on a Panigale V4 or Street Fighter V4. I would choose to do the install on the Street Fighter
Both big jobs to install. Especially on the first one that you do. After you have done a bike and know what you are in for you can tear it apart a lot quicker. Most major services need to be stripped to this level.
I’m almost in disbelief that you guys had the bike stripped down that far and didn’t fit a radiator guard while you were already in there… Other than that, thanks for the upload. 👍
We have one lonely Streetfighter in the area and the owner wanted to install the Akrapovic full system, our dealer told him the engine would need to be torn down every 3000 km. Warranty would be null and void otherwise. Is that true? He ended up installing Arrow slip ons.
I think thats incorrect because ducati is only working together with akrapovic and termignoni so you won't lose your warranty if you install one of those brands on your ducati, The only thing when you lose your warranty is flashing the ecu and about every 3000km service i don't know but i think they want to make money because my dealership didn't say that to me, so thats pritty weird.
As long as you fit the genuine parts it all should be cool with warranty. Slip-ons would be much easier to install and probably sound mint too. Any sound is better than stock.
Yes the torn down engine thing would be for racing. Even then it would only be for the elite level riders. For a normal human, normal servicing would be fine, just with a few extra oil changes to help keep it mint.
Yes Dave it was absolutely massive ! Sounds so good and make it all worth it. MotoGP sound !!! Haha yes, 3 bolts and 4 nuts and the system was off on an old M900.
Not what I would call a beginner's project. Great work!
Definitely not mate. I'm still getting therapy over it.... Hahaaa
Cheers for the comment.

Hi Glenn, yep,, huge job and not for the faint hearted. Glad you liked the upload mate !
Wow that's amazing, lots of parts to take off just to install the exhaust. I commend you guys 🙌🏾👍🏽
Thanks Ricky. Took just about the same time to edit the video footage as to fit the exhaust system 😂
Excellent video guys, no rubbish commentary or music, just down to business. Best on TH-cam.
Cheers Karl. Glad you liked it mate. It was a massive job. Though it would be good for people to see just what is involved.

Thankyou...... Glad you liked it. Another vid upload this Friday 7am so put the kettle on again mate. Hope your having fun out there on your bike too.
TURBOBIKE haven’t wiped the smile off my face, looks and sounds even better in person
It’s an epic job mate. An absolute weapon, sounds awesome!, 👍

BIG job !

beautiful beast!
Sure is!
Such a delicious sound.
Bloody nice hey Jim. V4 goodness....
How somebody's going to wish they'd had the rad-guards fitted while you were in there. Lol.
You are one busy boy, mate 😂
The show must go on Dave 😀😀😀😀
I love these videos. 2 questions I hope you can answer.
1.- both O2 sensors are reconnected?
2.- why you decided to take out baffles and install the conic one? Thanks!
Hello Maw, cheers for the comment
1- yes they are reconnected or the bikes electronics will be upset.
2- need that stereo sound !

Same as models before , take your time and use cardboard for protection. Tricky job for sure Adrian
That exhaust is a work of art! Was that 3 generations I saw in the same room at one time? Pretty cool 😎 🍻🍻🍻
Yeah mate dad calls us "3G" just like Telstra :)
Love you uploads too Shane. Good info in every episode.
Haha 3G epic. Thanks man. Appreciate it 🍻🍻🍻
Quality job by skilled mechanics! Do you have to pay for install if you order the exhaust as part of new bike purchase?

Thanks for watching mate. This Friday is more V4 Streetfighter stuff. Rear-sets, Sports pack and much more. Hopefully you like this upload too !
Good job with the bike boys.. but why no gloves on a titanium install?
great video, how many decibels you have with the complete Akrapovic system
Wow! How long did that take? Such a lot of work but it’s nice to see decent Aftermarket manufacturers working with major motorcycle brands :)
Hi mate. It took forever it felt !
About 10hrs to fit exhaust and same to edit the footage.
I like all the smoke and the falling parts at engine start 😁🤡
Haha yep. All part of the show. Smoke and mirrors. ;)
What is the conical shape part over there that u put in silencers
Its a noise suppressor or DB killer.
I would have installed Grill Guards most definitely..Great Video!! What was the Cost in the end mate ? TY
I'd like to see Dyno Numbers before and after install ?? Lol
Did yee clean down the pipes from finger prints.
Yep !
Leave no evidence !!

Does its take whole days to finished up? That bike has lot part than my bike 😂 but you guys are awesome 👍
Yes Suliyanto its a massive job. Takes a few days to do it nice. Many many parts. Thanks for the comment mate.
Fantastic
How many hours do you take for the exhaust installation bro? Really like your work on the bike.
What's the name of the chain guard? the little part above left footpeg... that's not standard...?!
Std in Australia Martin. 44610531AA CHAIN GUARD FRONT
@@turbobike749 Thank you! Appreciate it.
Open heart surgery on a brand new bike! You’d think they’d just build some of them with that system in the factory.
Haha yep,, first week of seeing a Streetfighter then total strip down.
Good way to get to know the new model hey mate.
What type of torque wrench are you using?
The one with the pin that pops out is a Warren and Brown...... 1 million years old and still calibrated correctly . The 1/4 drive one is Snap-on
Why the smoke from the upper part ist nirmal?
Does the exhaust come with a carbon cover to replace the plastic one from the factory exhaust??
Yes mate it has that carbon exhaust cover supplied with the Akro. Looks great hey.

Should have fit a rad guard while they had it pulled apart.
For sure Tadhg. Needs one hey mate.
Hi mate, whereabouts are you located?
Hello mate. We are in Bunbury Western Australia. 1 Cornwall Street 6230
@@turbobike749 oh wow...I thought you guys on Sydney 😢

SnappyTodd luv ya surgery m8 sik66🏍👍🍻
Hey Mick how are ya mate. Check out the Xdiavel strip down on my channel shes major.
hello from Brasil.......
Wow ..
Awesome hey !
how much would u guys charge for a full system on one of these 1000$ in labour ? lol
Not to much mate. Maybe an arm and a leg :)
Ducati very hard to install after market exust😄
Crack on with the ZXR bud, PLEASE !!!!!
Hi Mat. I have filmed a small upload to show everyone its still alive mate. I need more hours in the day cause I just cant get to it. Trying but man.
Fark me thats a big strip down to fit an exhaust........... I bet you miss the ol air cooled twin days
Yes Dave it was absolutely massive ! Sounds so good and make it all worth it. MotoGP sound !!!
Haha yes, 3 bolts and 4 nuts and the system was off on an old M900.
Worst part of that job is keeping track of the bolts and screws
Nearly sounds as good as the Aprilia V4!
at 14,500RPM I would imagine it will sound AWESOME !!!
What an arse of a job that is! Christ
Tubular subframe? C’mon Ducati, I know vacural die casting is expensive, but so is your bike. And the parts are already r&d’d
Cheers for commenting mate.
this bike is a joke
What makes you say that?
