I want to thank you. Probably 18 months or more ago you mentioned The Bible Recap. I ordered it back then and love it.

I totally understand what you are saying. When I’m at darkness with anxiety and depression is when I get closer to God. I hate going through that but sometimes I feels God allows it so I can seek him more. Btw I love all your videos ❤

Hi Jaci. I've never left a comment but I've been subbed (under different usernames at times) since almost the beginning. My spirit was prompted to say this about your statement around seeing the Lord in your surroundings more, feeling Him more, being more in tune or more connected during those times you're in the hospital.
Do we know what you mean? Honey, of course, we do. And you know what? He knows that. It takes humility to admit that. I don't have our Heavenly Father's mind to tell you the why's. But I have the Father's heart to feel your emotions sharing that and understand what you're saying.
I know that you're ceaselessly praying, your worshipping Him throughout the day and everything you do to be in His presence daily. We are always maintaining our relationship with Him in even the mundane tasks we do on autopilot. Our spirit is always ON even when these earthly brains aren't "thinking" about it.
I don't want to give a sermon or ramble on with deep theological points and outlines because that's not my God. He's easy. Because, like you said, he's gracious. I wanted to share something I was given insight to about your thoughts.
We're the bride of Christ. So, in essence, He's our spouse. See it this way - you love Freddie, you miss Freddie when he's not home but you know he's there (at work, running errands, driving, etc) and he's coming back at some point. And when he's home...everything feels complete and you can be close because you have access to him. When he's there, you can tell him what you need, you talk in detail things that happened during the day and things that are planned for your tomorrow.
He will go to work the next day but he didn't leave you, you didn't stop loving him or needing him. Every second of the day isn't centered around Freddie, why you're not talking to him or how much you need him to do something for you. You may have an issue during the day that requires his knowledge, skill or physical strength to accomplish. You have a To-Do list in your mind of things around the house that you have to mention or ask him to take care of.
When he's there, you give him your requests/demands/needs. Does he get upset because you didn't call him every time a shelf needed putting up or you waited to ask him to clear the walkway so Ale's chair can pass thru? He's not hurt or disappointed in you because you needed heavy boxes moved but didn't ask him because he wasn't there. No honey. He appreciates you WAITING FOR HIM to ASK HIM to do these things when he you saw him.
It's the same with our Father God. We always need Him. It's in those times of hurt, darkness and brokenness that we look for Him in every situation (and sometimes thru people) because we need Him, we're present and we have these things we want to ask Him to do. He already knows this and He's not angered or disappointed. He loves that you do seek Him, call Him and entrust Him with your innermost thoughts and fears. He is given His rightful place - as the Husband (of His church) - when you make your requests known, commit them in His hands and, with faith, leave it in His care to do all that is in His will and purpose. He doesn't see anything but that you gave your needs TO HIM instead of trying to take control and lead with self.
I apologize for the longest comment. I was just impressed with that and maybe someone needed to read it. Idk. Thank you for being so open, raw and real. Getting to watch your life, Ale, your journey with setbacks and triumphs and everything in-between is a privilege. Don't give up. Keep pressing in. So many of us love you and the family and keep you in our prayers 🙏🏻.

Wow! Thank you for, like you said, the longest comment ever! I don’t even know where to start. I felt like I had to read this twice to really take it all in. You are definitely right with how the Lord works and how he waits for us to give it up to him to take control. There’s so much that I have been learning throughout this whole process and I love to share bc it can help someone but I also know that others can speak into my life through comments. I appreciate you and this community, you have no idea how much. Thank you for the love and prayers. God bless ❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
