The best silent film I've seen this year !! Initially, I missed the narration but then realized you can cover so much more ground (literally) without it. Many thanks to Michaela and Ricardo for the excellent photography. Seeing the maps prior to each neighborhood was a very nice touch and really helps ! ***** (5 stars)

Fantastic! Finally someone who moved to Mexico makes a video worth watching. Every video I’ve seen about moving to Mexico, whether it’s, San Miguel de Allende, chápala, or ajijic. They are all the same. Catering to the rich who want to retire. What about those who only can retire on social security. This is the reason I love your videos. Now knowing that there are different communities for different living styles and income. Thanks

After my divorce I came looking for a place to lay my hat and even though I didn't like Lake Chapala the first time I came down, I came back the following year because I found a really nice rental at $200 USD. After spending a couple more months here I just fell in love with the place and the people. You don't need to be rich to live here and you can live a far better lifestyle for a lot less in Lake Chapala.
