In this series I'll be talking about the The Rising Sign/Ascendant // How other people see you // Your shadow side.
Sounds like a lot huh? The Rising sign/ascendant is an angle in your chart and it is how you see the world, your initial approaches to situations, and how others see you when they first meet you. 🌾

Yes! It's always been hard to understand my Virgo rising. Thanks for your perspective!! This makes sense to me now as I am a Pisces Sun and Moon. I always felt a little at war with myself in my youth like I would see the Pisces in me and then the Virgo would be like why are you like this!!! lol it's been a journey into compassion and understanding fueled by curiosity.

Totally agree. I find that self criticism can be the hardest to overcome with having a libra sun and scorpio moon. Always way too overstimulated. Meditation and creating is so important. my descendent is aries though

I like your take on Virgo rising! It’s much more compassionate than most descriptions I’ve read of it. My normal reaction to “Virgo rising” or (worse) “double Virgo” is “God help us all!” 😅
I’ve often wondered if my birth time was recorded incorrectly and I am indeed a Libra rising instead of a Virgo rising. But maybe I am indeed a double Virgo after all. Maybe there are some plus sides to a Virgo ascendant.

meee 100% i used to think this was all hogwash its creepy accurate my rising my sun capricorn and my moon aries venus aquarius all of it explains me to a t and my mars being in pisces! im digging deeper but those really have stood out to me!!! i find studying my chart is helping me understand myself. doing my family and friends charts helps me understand them a bit better too! my kids dads a pisces the guy thats kind have gotten my interest is a pisces rising....

I'm a Virgo rising, I've never been skinny in my life lol. I also have my moon in my 1st house so my weight fluctuates. I don't think I look good in classic type of clothing. I dress most times like my Aries Venus, more sporty but I wear neutral colors like a Virgo rising might. I'm also a Pisces sun so sometimes I do like to dress more loosely, and laid back.
I'm not good at communicating, I can communicate through writing but not really good at it verbally.

Virgo rising but Virgo also rules 12th House which has Sun-Mercury -Uranus-Pluto all conjunct, Moon in Gemini. All this Mercury Virgo hard work worry and self-criticism nearly put me into an early grave! 😄 Finally I'm embracing some Pisces energy with my 12th House emphasis. Breathe-accept-rest. So hard to give up my to-do lists and just live my life without feeling I have to justify my worth and existence every second. But the hamster wheel over-achiever life just wasn't sustainable.
