Gunung Yong Belar is located in the Titiwangsa Range, which is a mountain range that stretches over 480km. Gunung Yong Belar is the third highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia, after Gunung Tahan 2187 meter and Gunung Korbu 2183 meter.
I did a 2-day 1-night camping trip, spending a night at Kem Tudung Periuk.
The hike to Gunung Yong Belar is quite challenging, with 7 false peaks before reaching Kem Tudung Periuk/ Trailhead.

Great video! Can you please share any information on how you organised this trip? I.e. guide, permit, transport from the masjid etc. it's very difficult for me to find anything. I am a tourist in Malaysia right now and would love to do this❤

Due to the monsoon season, the forest is currently closed till next year Jan / Feb ... depending on location.
