Tom, i would literally watch a stream or uncut video serious of you playing hardspace shipbreaker. I've watched like 40 hours of other people playing it, I think I can handle your videos being longer than 20 minutes
Hey Tom, I know you guys sometimes read comments, can you talk in the next stream about Vaesen once you've read it, my best friend is a Free League fan and has been debating ordering it for months!
Bens thought about AoS units really doesn't take into account that fantasy was the same, If you're not counting variations for sigmar you can't count them for fantasy
Not exactly when most of AOS armies are just split versions of fantasy factions like vampire counts becoming nighthaunt, flesheater courts, the new vampire faction.
Even with variants the lists are a lot smaller, their Ork example, with the variants had even fewer unit types than Bretonnia which hadn't had anything new released for them since 6th ed
wish i could join the star wars conversation but its been too long since i watched any and even the more recent onces werent memorable enough to really recall. They were movies. And thats about the kind of status they inherit in my brain.
Ben's statement about preordering warhammer 3 aged like milk. Its not terrible, but it isn't great either. Reinstalling it for the first time since February now, but I know I wont super get into it until August, when Immortal empires comes out
Really dislike the beastman update, it's made them ridiculously easy. They're _meant_ to be ball-crushingly hard, they're a raggedy band of disorganised dipshit half-breeds When this update came, I hadn't played in a while and felt super rusty but after like 3 turns playing on hard/hard with Taurox, I realised how easy the campaign is, switched to legendary, and just wandered around killing everything. It's fun to feel strong for a few turns but it ends up being a really boring campaign; you start next to the SoK with basically no penalty for the new beastmen, so Taurox basically becomes indestructible and every battles devolve into sending Taurox in on his own and just mopping up with your other units when needed ETA: I guess none of this matters when Ben doesn't actually use any of the mechanics...
I love Tom and Ben, but I only watch these videos up until they fire up the game. I personally do not enjoy watching others play TW games at all. I did, however, enjoy the Dark Souls stream, even though I don't actually like the game - go figure! I would love it if Ben and Tom kept all the amazing banter and jokes (and YourHammer when it comes back!) but picked a different game to play during XD
They hate it because the lore is an absolute mess and threw out the the entire universe they've been invested in for decade in favour of fantasy golden space marines.
