Great question! The rear visibility on this prototype model is actually surprisingly good! We have raised the cab several inches and redesigned the engine compartment so that the rear fenders are easily visible to the operator. It is equipped with HD cameras, but they serve more as a rearview mirror and are almost not even necessary.

@@ianwood1623 Interesting machine, I'm all for the track type then tire, good for a wet and muddy condition like this has good reach but I question the strength of the design of arm
@@ianwood1623 will kmc reman an older unit into something like this. My pops used to work on a crew with an old fmc. Was a beast of a machine when running right but too many breakdowns on the UC. Hopefully the new stuff is doing great. I always root for the smaller companies.
@@richfrench288 Yes absolutely - you may be better off with a trade in than a rebuild tho' call us 1800 562 5303 and ask for Wayne the GM. Thanks for your feedback
@@dh8460 swing grapples are very popular and negates the need for a winch in many applications. we have a couple in the Pacific NW - do you want to see one working - call us 1800 562 5303.
Send me anywhere, I love a tracked machine. A number of fairly good cat skinners, ive known did not have a good experience with this. But, ive quite a bit of time in an FMC220. And I am very good. Pretty confident in my ability to handle it.
Our new Kootrac 3000 Series design is a reimagining of the classic high speed tracked vehicle we have all grown to love. This model has the agility required to maneuver tight and unfavorable environments, combined with its electric controls, allows for high precision. The foreword mounting of the cab allows us to take advantage of the increased visibility. Having the engine compartment in the center of the machine allows for easy servicing and maintenance.
Skidder and a snowcat had this mutant baby and it was awesome
The swing pinion bull gear must be massive to withstand all the force with the boom extended out like that.
With everything behind the cab, doe it have a camera back there so you can see the turn when you grab it?
