      ohhh man! that’s a slippery slope! I remember when I was like, “Oh let’s try a hoya!” And then a month later I had like 6 different kinds. haha.

    Does the white on this hoya become green when the leaf gets older? I have seen some are in pink color? Are they the new growth?

    • @michaeljohnhalse
      @michaeljohnhalse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      nope, they stay white! the pink might fade to white also, but if there’s a lot of it, the leaf might keep the pink.

    How will the flowers grow if we crop off the edges in a attempt to stop it from growing wild all over the place?

    • @michaeljohnhalse
      @michaeljohnhalse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      well, they won’t. lol, as the plant is cut back, and new growth emerges from the bottom, there’s a chance that a vine with a peduncle will emerge closer to the base of the plant, but it’s rare. mine does have a few small underdeveloped peduncles on it, and I leaves those vines on, even when they get long and crazy looking.

    Do your new white leaves ever fall off? What does this mean?

    • @michaeljohnhalse
      @michaeljohnhalse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      mine haven’t, but I know some have had them fall off. all it means is that it’s getting a lot of ample light, so the plant can afford sending out some leaves with less chlorophyll, they’re pretty, but they don’t do anything to help the plant absorb sunlight and turn it into energy.
