Your intro made me laugh out loud, because after initially not understanding why anyone would want a hoya at the beginning of my plant journey in 2020, in the last 6 months I became obsessed and the hoyas I have in my collection currently are carnosa Krimson Queen, pubacalyx unknown variety, lightly splashy, and Wayetii variegated. The three you called out. Too funny!😂
I actually bought my Burtoniae from lowes. It was on clearance in near perfect condition 😂. Probably about 6mo. Ago. It's gorgeous. Though hasn't bloomed yet 😢
Great list! I have all of these except gunung gading, and they're all out in my regular room humidity, though I have a bright apartment. I had a rehab obscura that never came back, and I recently decided it was beyond help and I would replace it, and seeing yours I'm glad I did. I'll always click on the "no extra humidity/grow light needed" type videos! Two of my favorite easy-care ones that are less "usual" than carnosa are pachyclada (they renamed it, but I don't remember to what) and Hoya 'Jennifer.'
"Gateway Hoya" love it. I have loved them for many years, my grandmother grew the very common varites 50+ years ago. I have several varieties now, I'm not good with the names.
Hey! I still have the sp aff. burtonie that I bought from you 1 1/2 years ago (?). I love her soooooo much. I have her hanging to where I can see her everyday lol. She lives under a grow light under my fp mantle and is loving life. She really shot off this past spring and is actually starting to trail. I wish TH-cam would allow us to post pics in the comments so that you can see her.
I snagged a Sp. Aff. Burtoniae at the Southington (movie theater) HD. The leaves looked a little dull but hoping it will do well in east facing window. I grabbed the fullest, most beautiful Marble Queen too!
AWESOME!!! I really liked #3, 4, & 5!!! I love plants with variegation & unique leaves!!! Definitely would like to see more like this. I’m still liking the big leaf one you showed recently. 😎😎😎🪴🪴🪴
Love your Hoya Mathilde and have just purchased as my very first hoya, but what is the plant in the buddha head on your left shoulder. Its stunning! Yikes, is it the same as the one in the white pot next to your head???
Oh gosh Jaclynn I love so many of your Hoya, I love that Hoya obscura, and I really love that heart shaped trellis. Oh that Hoya mathilde, is so beautiful and full. Also love that Hoya callistophylla, the designing in those leaves is so unique. Oh gosh also love that Hoya Gunung Gading, those leaves are also so gorgeous. I love these videos of yours, and would love seeing more videos on easy going Hoya, and even harder ones, I just love so many Hoya, and #2, 3,4, and 5 are all of my favorites and I think that I would really love all of these. Thanks so much Jaclynn for this great video, have a blessed and beautiful rest of your day, sending love and hugs, bye! 😂😉😍🤗😺😻👋👍🙏💜💜💜💖
I'm giving up with certain Hoyas. Not buying them anymore, not replacing the ones that died. I have four different types and that's fine with me. If those die, then oh well, I tried.
Oh my goodness...the callistophylla was on my wish list forever and I finally got it a few months ago and it has not disappointed! I love it so so much! I also recently got some mathilde cuttings and she's a beast! Two others that I got recently and I'm loving are parasitica black margin and krohniana super silver.
I only had two of my Hoyas to try and attempt to bloom but then they all died off, but also I was moving and they weren’t the only living thing stressing 😅 then one of the Hoyas died down to two strands. The other hoya is doing okay.😅 Side note: I will return as a plant fam member. Things are a little crazy preparing to move outta state.❤❤
I have a Burtonaie and a Bilobata. The leaves are NOT the same color or shape. Burtonaie has fuzz on the elongated, darker green dark margin leaf, and Bilobata has a smooth, nickel sized, rounded, brighter, lime skin colored green leaf. Stores DO tag Burtaniae incorrectly as Bilobata or DS70. Your Burtonaie should have a fuzzy, olive colored elliptical shape with a dark rim as shown on this video.

I would love to find a callistophylla. Not available in my area.
I know!!
Oh my goodness...the callistophylla was on my wish list forever and I finally got it a few months ago and it has not disappointed! I love it so so much! Still can’t figure out how to make my Hoyas bloom….
H💚YAS!!!

😍😍😍
I hear that Mathilde blooms are STINKY
Hoya blooms are super subtle, so I don't even smell anything unless I put my nose right in it 🤷🏻♀️
