I think that's the only time an Icecapes costume wasn't horrifying.
That just proves what great and simple design Chip and Dale have!
I would love to see an episode for Sebastian from Little Mermaid. His Disney on Ice costume was…certainly a creative way to mimic articulation 😅

when i was a cast member we were taught to give guests the "trivia" that chip the chipmunk and chip the teacup are the only two disney characters that share a name. but at some point i realized that is...demonstrably untrue. just off the top of my head there's pete the cat and pete with the dragon.
I never knew there was a lady chipmunk, I was so confused when she was on one of the parade floats for "Dream and shine brighter" in Disneyland Paris. Someone behind me in the crowd loudly proclaimed "It's Dale in drag!" 😂
I am going to make this simple:
Chip’s the serious one,
Dale’s the fun one!
have you noticed that when chip is off somewhere else, Dale comes out of his shell? see this in the restaurant meet and greet with Brian Hull, "I scared Chip." basically Brian weaves his voice acting magic and talks to Chip in Chip's own voice, scaring the chipmunk so much that he runs away and hides. Dale comes up to Brian and basically gets about five minutes solid with Brian, a personal audience with the great voice actor while Chip is hiding from him. it's so funny. Chip's reaction to Brian is wonderful too, once he's come out of hiding that is.
As Dan said: "Dale's a Wildcard"

Chip and Dale were my favourite when I was young. Glad they get a costume evolution.
Dan was right! The movie is amazing and scratches the Disney afternoon itch real good.
These costume evolutions are always so fascinating, and I appreciate that Chip and Dale’s early costumes weren’t pure nightmare fuel like some of the other characters’ early costumes. I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for these characters though. I think they might have been my first character meet and greet when I was a toddler! My parents have a picture of me with them somewhere in Frontierland (I think???) from 1993 and I’m wearing a Barney sweatshirt haha.

I've only been to Hong Kong Disney in 2007-ish but I definitely remember getting pictures with Chip & Dale. Also it took like 3 days to find Tigger (the only mascot I was interested in at 13) and he was HIGHLIGHTER ORANGE. Awful lmao

My twin sister and I called ourselves Chip and Dale since we were kids because we really liked a Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and once our older brother tried to call him and his wife Chip and Dale and my sister and I immediately argued with them that they work better as Donald and Daisy.
Anyway, anytime we go to the Parks and see them or when we see Chip and Dale merch, we get really excited.
Oh those chipmunks, They're always nutty.

I met them in The Rescue Rangers outfits in 1991 And I also saw them with regular brown & white Fur in the year 2004.

What helped me finally remember who’s who is that Dale’s nose is more like a clown nose, and he’s the goofier one. It works better in Rescue Rangers where Chip is the straight man way more

Simmons, Seth Rogen, Nick Kroll, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele in a pair of interesting roles, Amy Pohler and Tina Fey as Chip and Dale’s respective chipmunk girlfriends, KiKi Layne as the chipmunk fan girl of the Rescue Rangers and one of the love interests for Chip or Dale, and other cast members for some animal characters in a movie for Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers that serves as an origin story prequel for the Rescue Rangers team and a continuation of the series where the team would face off against new villains!

yes, unless there's audio description for blind people, it's gonna be really hard for us to tell which chipmunk is which. their voices are so similar. at least with the sped up versions from CDRR you could tell who was Chip and who was Dale.

I remember seeing Chip and Dale at Disneyland in the 80s as a kid. My mom has these really neat photos I took with them with a fun forest background behind them. I remember how soft and warm their fur was.

Chip is my favorite chipmunk and character in the rescue rangers series and movie.

Not so fun fact: Theres a dark history behind Chip and Dale's namesake. Thomas Chippendale made his famous furniture from slave-produced mahogany wood important from the Caribbean. His furniture was then sold to stately homes in the UK many of which were owned by slave owners.

My absolute favorite costume CnD wear is the DinoBash costumes. I saw them in 2019 and cried. It was so adorable
I always differentiated them as "Chip = Chocolate, Dale = Strawberry", as someone who always had Strawberry as his favorite flavor, and considered that the more "fun" flavor than common chocolate.

We met Chip and Dale at Garden Grill and one of them gave me a kiss on the cheek and my boyfriend shook his fist and was like "I'm watching you". I told them that he didn't get an opinion because he hadn't put a ring on it to which the chipmunks responded by doing the single ladies dance 🤣 ...adding to the irony, my boyfriend proposed less than 24 hrs later on Main St.
There's also the Chip & Dale Dancer costumes, but those were a little too risque for the parks.

The new movie was pretty cool in my opinion. The story had a lot of interesting twists and turns. I hope it is a sign of great things to come for Chip and Dale. I would love to hear more about what the Disney afternoon stage show was really like? Can you do an actual deep dive of the storyline. The chocolate analysis sequence was Hilariously funny!

I remember when I was a little girl in the late eighties, my favorite Disney TV show theme songs were Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck. If I heard those TV show theme songs during the day, I was a happy camper. 😁🤩

Ok, here's my fan-theory; It all starts with Basil of Baker st. He set the precedent, and became one of the founding-members of the Rescue Aid Society. Fast-forward 10 years, and the last dregs of the R.A.S. form a rag-tag private-investigation-agency known as the Rescue-Rangers. At least that's how I see it, anyway. =)

The opening day costumes didn't just differentiate through their noses. They also have the 2 different sets of eyes. (mimicking the ice capades)
