Just following up on this from years ago. I bought the wake booster 2 540 bags and 2 200 bags. Any help with placement would be appreciated. Also are the 2 200 bags even needed with 1000 pounds?
@@thomaswatts9881 correct from yamaha. I have a 22 ar195 and tried the whole kit..looked pretty good with just the 400. So moving forward if I have 2 540lb bags... one on the lower platform on surf side and one in the ski locker? Or is that too much
Not sure. The 190 does not have the super charger right? I believe we tested that and we had to run with less weight in the boat to surf. Having a smaller surf wave but still not too bad. The super charger helps a lot to get on plane with a lot of weight. Sadly you can’t really surf without adding weight
@Thomas, which package are you using from @jetBoatPilot? I get the Thrust Vectors, but wondering why speed control is needed given it already comes stock with Cruise Control? Wave looks great.
Thrust vector wake. But on a single engine it’s not a huge deal to have then or not. The wake is pretty clean without. But definitely have some weight. The speed control is needed to keep it at exactly what you want. Like we ride 10.5 mph and 11.5 sometimes for longer wake
@@thomaswatts9881 Thanks, brother! Sounds like Speed Control is just much more accurate than Cruise Assist Do you think the 195 is that much better than the 190 for Surfing? Seems like the SVHO is great for top end speed, but in my experience surfing.... you don't need much top end speed!
For sure. The super charged 195 is better for pulling a bunch a weight. May not be able to have as much without super charged. We are actually testing this soon
kwerner we use steel shot bags to get the nozzles down! Look up our Yamaha Surf School video to see how we setup our boat. This one has the cleanest wave
I just sold my tige Z3 and was looking at getting a supreme ZS232 but for 100,000 less I can get this and hold off for a couple years until my kids get to the age they can actually use the surf boat with me. My wife loves to surf so this could be a viable option. I use to own an ar210 and it could not surf at all. The wave was so bad with the two motors.

Wake booster from yamaha? We tried that and it almost made the wave worse
Just need to get the weight on the swim platform on the side you are surfing

How did you loosen the U bolts to fit the wake booster in?
