Best video ever.... So many are trying so hard to do an epic all around video, which buyers like myself want something straight to the point like this. I trust your word and I now want the AR195 ASAP. Thanks for the video, I’m waiting on the next videos to post...
Thanks for a great review of the new 195. As an owner of a 2018 AR195 it is good and bad to see some of the changes. Definitely lots to like. I ‘m more interested in the boats outside changes and how they effect handling and control. I have received both the thrusters and fins from you but have yet to install. I’m betting I would be really sorry for not waiting one year if it wasn’t for your products.
Yeah, I think you'll like our version of the Lateral Thruster system better once you're able to drive your boat with them installed and then compare to the new version. The new version works really well, don't get me wrong... but it is so strong that it can be a bit more than what a new boater might be comfortable with. In forward its about the same, needs Thrust Vectors.
Two things that drive my crazy on this boat. No option for a bow door to block the wind on cooler days and more areas for 12v charging. Otherwise they are great.
I have a 2013 and man u lose alot of engine compartment space in the 19. There is just not enough here to buy a new one. I do like the door on the drivers side.
Now that VRX is out of the game Yamaha and Scarab are really your only two choices. In terms of reliability Yamaha wins that battle. In terms of on water performance both do well. For the money I feel you get more with the Yamaha
i know im randomly asking but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Elisha King Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I can attest that even though they changed the tower to how it folds, it still will not fit in a 84” garage. The Bimini top brackets cause it to be too tall. Had to let air out of the tires to get it in.
Great Video Will. A lot of minor issues with my 2017 SX190 appear to be getting fixes, changes or upgrades. On the plus side is the Trash Can, EZ Helm access, hinged front cushions, Pilot Side Stereo, starboard prep table and the redesigned dash which appears to have an overhang so it shades the gauges and phone display. Can you comment on what appears to be a metal covered bow navigation light. The plastic cover on mine is long gone after it was knocked off during a cover removal and run over (weak design). Not sure I like the heightened position and redesign of the throttle and that button on this model and the SX190. One last thing....love those bucket seats. Can you comment on their interchangeability with older models...would really consider buying a pair.
Will-did you by chance have to adjust your trailer bunks? I know y’all bought an early 2019 model for R&D purposes. I bought mine in October 2018. My bunks are inside the inner-most strakes. It makes it VERY hard to align on the trailer. I always have a strake sitting in a bunk the first time. I’ve seen where it looks like later 2019s and 2020s have moved the bunks outside the inner-most strake now
Do you think the boat has adequate power with 4-5 adults in it? I have some friends who think the boat would be underpowered with 4-5 adults and even pulling another person. Would love to know your thoughts on this.
Generally water getting into the access ports is from water rushing over the hatch lid while slowing down rapidly. The following wake splashes onto the hatch lid and that water can get into the clean out port area. It is normal and I have seen this happen on all my Yamahas over the years.
@@JetBoatPilot I thought so but im new to boating figured id ask! I did order the thrust vector im waiting to receive it hopefully it will help with low speed steering. This is for a yamaha sx190, thanks for your reply!
@@JetBoatPilot that's not bad for a 19 foot boat bumpin only 230 horsepower. I run a Sea-Doo wake 230 and I think it has 510 horsepower it's a little bit bigger boat but when I have passengers that 510 horsepower is necessary
The world needs a 24 foot Cuddy Cabin jet boat

Horsepower is 250 and only premium fuel required..Thanks 4 walk through 👍

Which is better for the money!?
Yamaha AR195 or Chaparral VRX!?
Family ski/tube/wakeboard boat.

@Elisha King It worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much you really help me out :D
@Darren Vincenzo you are welcome :)

Excellent, thank you. Please do a performance review if you can. I would also love to see what the screen looks like.
Will do on a coming video.
By any chance have y’all weighed the boat on the trailer? I’m curious about the tongue weight when towing

I wonder it the newer boat will have a lower top end due to added weight and hull shape.
Yes supposedly slower by a bit but not more than maybe 2-3 mph
Great review, have you noticed any differences in the ride when driving in choppy water?
I have not had it in rough water yet. We'll report back when we've had a more thorough run in.
Awesome review. Would love to see comparison reverse control of 2019 vs 17/18 with LTs.
We've done one and the maneuverability is comparable with the LT being slightly better than the stock setup. You really can't go wrong either way.

Yes power is plentiful in this boat
Thanks for the review. Any pics on the new reverse bucket? Looking at local dealer pics it appears to be a 'diffuser' beneath the old bucket.
It's a completely new deflector and reverse bucket. I'll feature that video soon.
Thank you.
@@zonacrs you're welcome!
I have a 2021 sx195 and the speedometer quit working.
Any idea on how wide this boat is on the trailer? Trying to determine if this thing will fit in my garage. Thank you!
About 8'6" wide with fender flares.
Jet BoatPilot Thank you so much for the quick reply!!!
Is it normal that the access port fills up with water? I have to take out the plug and let it drain out after every trip.

How about looking at the AR210 with the TR-1 engines for those of us on a 21 ft budget.
Psh. We ain't got time for peasants
We typically review boats that we have on hand or have access to. If I have one come in the shop I will do so.
lol. Right?
Well done, Will! One question...what’s the cover to the right of the clean out port? Looks like it has a handhold to pull it off.
Access to mechanical. I believe that is what you're referring to.
Thanks for the quick reply!
You're welcome!
I don't see any snaps on the floor. Did they do away with the factory carpets/mats?
Yes we removed for SeaDek Installation.
What's the price
where can i get that trash can ????
How much$
This one is not for sale at the moment but likely will be in the spring. Typical cost for this model is around $37000
You didnt even show the out drive!
Doesn't seem like 230hp is enough.
I have driven ours and it seems peppy! I like it. Good hole shot and top end is around 45.
