  • In this video, Dr. Rudolf J. Siebert discusses the Frankfurt School's concept of the Authoritarian Personality, tracing it from its early conceptualization by the Freudian Psychoanalyst Erich Fromm, to Theodor W. Adorno's use of it in the seminal 1950 book, "The Authoritarian Personality." Dr. Siebert is joined by Dustin J. Byrd, Ph.D., as they discuss the origins, development, and problems of the authoritarian personality type that lends itself to the politics of domination, war, and genocide.
