Hi friends, welcome back and thanks for clicking on another video. I’m so glad you’re here! My baby is in a breech (transverse) position so I'm sharing with you all what I'm doing to try to turn him to a vertex position (head down) and avoid a C-section. I'm using spinning babies, the webster technique with a chiropractor, and getting an ECV.

This is me right now Momma! I found out when I was 33 weeks and tried EVERYTHING under the sun, but I cannot get him to budge! Stubborn little butthead XD So this Friday I am attempting one last shot for a head down position and thats through an ECV. If it won't work, we welcome our baby boy this Monday via my belly! Hoping for great things for us both!

I’m in the same boat, I found out baby being breach was an issue at 36/37 weeks. Been doing spin baby exercises since with no success yet. I might try the ECV at 38 + 4 days. I was terrified to try it too.

Transverse is when the head is angled at the hip bone?

Transverse is when the baby is laying horizontally across your belly. Look up pictures, that was helpful for me :) So he switches from being straight across my belly (head in the ribs on one side and butt in the ribs on the other side) and his head being slightly lower, across from my belly button. But his butt stays up in my ribs and doesn’t move.

Congrats on your healthy baby! Did you choose to do a C-section or was it an emergency c-section after the ECV? I had a successful ECV at 37 weeks, but babe is back to breech now at 38 weeks. I have the option to do another flip at 39 weeks with immediate induction for vaginal delivery or a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks. I’m afraid of the cord issue being around her neck! Not sure what to choose. Maybe they flip back to breech because of a cord issue?! Doc says cords are wrapped around babies necks in utero is common and not associated with risk

Thank you! I had to schedule a c-section after the failed ECV because no hospital anywhere near me would deliver a breech baby.

@@RaisingLittleLights Aw, I hope you have a smooth c-section! I ended up doing the ECV for the second time at 39 weeks, it hurt a lot more than the first time because babe was being even more stubborn and slipping her head back after turning half way but we finally got her down and I was induced, successful natural birth afterwards. It is a lot to go thru but it was my third baby and worth to keep trying ❤️

My baby Noah was also breeched at 37 weeks 🤦🏽‍♀️ these Noahs ❤I had a c section as well. I’m currently in my third pregnancy (he was my second) and this baby is also breeched. So I am trying my best rn at 29 weeks.

Same exact position right now only they’ve gone ahead and scheduled me for a week from now...my birth plan was an unmedicated water birth so it’s pretty hard to accept. Did your baby turn for you in time?

I’m so sorry, I completely understand how you’re feeling. Unfortunately he did not. We discovered when he came out during my C-section that the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and he was too big to be able to turn.

I am in the same position! ECV scheduled for a week from today.. wanted no intervention. What was your outcome?

In Scandinavia they want us to give vaginal birth in breech position if possible (if they can't turn baby). Not every hospital can do it, but allot do. Having ultrasound 4th of january to see if my baby is breech🤞, hoping not.🤗😬

Oh I so wish I could’ve had that choice! The hospitals here in the state I live in don’t give the option.

@@RaisingLittleLightsIf it is a small hospitall u might not be able to choose. They where able to turn my baby with no complications. 15 seconds and no pain. So worth it. 😁🥰

@@RaisingLittleLights you always have that option. They can't say no while in labor and they can't force a c section. Transverse is completely undeliverable but if it happens again just don't show up to the scheduled c section and go in pushing

Please can a breech presentation turns to cephalic at 36 weeks?
