Holy crap that hit home not gonna lie! This short film is probably the best and most emotional one I have seen so far. The cinematography and execution of this film is flawless. A true masterpiece. Well done! Keep doing what your doing.
Just finished watching your short film, and wow, Ryan Collins, you absolutely nailed it! The tension was palpable, and the way you explored the complexities of human connection amidst the horrors of war was just brilliant. Bailey's internal struggle was so raw and real - I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Can't wait to see what you create next!
Thank you so much for watching it! Some of the actors were from my school since this was a student film and some I reached out to them through backstage! Hope that helped.
Awesome Ry! Riveting, emotional and beautifully executed! Great work! In the end... he did what was necessary. And he was on the right side of history 🫡
Hey @Jonjs99 thank you for watching the film! The radio is called SCR-536 and they were developed in 1940. They were the one of the first hand held “walkie talkies!”
Well, as a German who served as an officer in the Bundeswehr the narrative of this film is hardly to understand. Although it’s made very good. I‘m happy that Americans came, fought and Germany lost the war. Otherwise I couldn’t have served in an army of a free and democratic state. And I wouldn’t have enjoyed to do service with American, French and comrades from other nations. I now that the Nazis even send children into battle- they were highly ideological manipulated and dangerous. Even in modern wars soldiers have to face this when they fight in dictatorship ruled countries.

Thank you so much, I appreciate it!
Those soldiers looked like they just had been deployed that very day. They were way too clean.

Thank you, that’s exactly what I was going for.
Bravo, Ryan. I love this short movie! Is there a sequel or a full version? Cant wait!
Thank you so much! I definitely have been thinking about adapting this into a feature film!

You are a fool. There is no “right side” in history.
Ryan Collins, what is your message here in this absurd vignette ?
I remember this war...
It truly stays with you forever...
And I wish I could forget!!!
The last shot of this film hurts every time I see it 🙊

Not realistic at all. Everyone is so careless, and that supposedly after a few months of action. And why they all fraternize with the enemy.
No one was wrong in WW2 ? Rearly ??? You could say that about WW1 but not WW2 nor in the Ukrain war !
Great job Ryan
Did I catch your Dad's voice on the radio?
@@PaulLutter Yes you did 😂 Nice catch!
