Crazy how much love he is getting in these comments when a week ago half of yalll wouldn’t have watched it and just considered him a “clown” we should show that love before they are gone forever. Might have made a huge impact on how he lived his life
I broke down and cried when watching this.. His parents forced him to do this episode of Cribs the day they announced to him that they were divorcing and he was about to lose everything he showed off in that house. This really hit a nerve for me because I was thrown out of the house I grew up in after my last immediate family died, and I lost some things and also left some things behind out of my own negligence. I never got over it, even though I had another home to go to and tried to replace what was lost, it never actually replaces anything. I still have nightmares, flashbacks.. There’s nothing I can do about it now. When Aaron did the interview 2 decades later on how his parents made him do the t.v. show tour the day they told him they were divorcing, and he broke down crying as a 30-year-old man, as though it just happened yesterday, that REALLY hit home for me. Here he was with his own house and his own things and a new life, and it still affected him 20 years later.. There’s a definite trauma that comes with traumatic family change like divorce or death and then getting displaced from your home that DOESN’T GO AWAY. This man was self-medicating because he was in PAIN. Then his father died a few years later and that must have been the cherry on top to finally tip him over the edge. I am so, so sorry Aaron. I only stopped following you on social media right before your death because it was so hard to see you self-destruct with no sign of stopping in sight, but I now know you were hurting so much, and I wish I could have turned back time for you and made your parents choose your well-being over fame and fortune.. Anything that may have saved you. I love you and Rest In Peace angel 💐

I just saw a clip on FB of Aaron saying that this is one of the hardest things he had to do. The morning of the day this was filmed, he found out that his parents were getting divorced but they said he still had to shoot MTV cribs 💔
My childhood dream came true when I met Aaron in 2016 on his LOVE tour. I hugged him and told him I was so proud of him. He was beaming. He was so gracious and wonderful. His energy was pure. I’ll never forget it.
I just wanted to say that I met Aaron Carter at his show in STL in I think 2014. But he is the kindest person. I met him at the meet & greet and he kissed my cheek & told me he loved me. Felt like we really had a connection. I cried like a baby the moment I walked into the meet & greet room, cuz I had always dreamed about that since I was a little girl. I remember watching him kiss Lizzie McGuire and I wanted that too. Then it really happened on a spur of the moment night later in my life. Shoutout to you Aaron, bless your soul man. And then he lost it all but still managed to have a nice lifestyle in California until his untimely death a few days ago. Despite all his success, I’m glad I’m me. He went through a lot in his short life. Chains and nice cars were just some of the nice things.
He's adorable 🥰 here, young and vulnerable. It makes me sad actually. He doesn't really know any different when raised by narcissistic parents. I hope he raises his son better. ❤️
I don't know much about his parents, but if they were truly narcissists, makes a lot of sense. In one of his IG live streams, he was talking about having 7 out of 9 narcissistic qualities. This was sadly the beginning of the end for Aaron when he did this on MTV Cribs. Benzodiazepines like Xanax, Valium, and Klonopin mess people up long-term, with personality, decision-making, and other changes. He was on them at least the last time he was arrested.
This is the exact day that Aaron found out his parents were getting a divorce and they'd no longer be living there. This is the day he is in "arrested development" ... he is stuck mentally at this age.
Not shocking. He only got a record deal because his brother was in one of the biggest pop groups of all time, the kid never had talent. People will appease teenagers because they think it’ll help them become better adults but dude never grew up and rather than accepting he had no talent he dug himself a deeper ditch.

His mom and dad told him they’re gonna get divorce the exact day this episode was shot (which is very selfish and bad timing) and it messed him up a lot. Having to pretend everything is ok when in reality this house isn’t gonna be a complete happy family house anymore.. RIP!
Just hours before this episode was shot, Aaron was told by his parents they were splitting. This property would be sold and Aaron's world would fall apart. This is pretty much the moment Aaron's development was....arrested? Stunted? Affected for sure. The start of the downward spiral. I feel really sorry for him. He was a genuinely positive happy young man who cherished family life. He was so proud and protective of family. He looked up to his brother so much. I think because his Dad left and remarried, Nick became a sort of father figure for Aaron. But it was too much for Nick. Nick was a man, finding ndependence from his family with the band now taking up most of his time...his new family. Aaron's adoration, which was inflated due to a lack of father figure, was overwhelming for Nick and while he loved his little brother, he couldn't give him all he wanted. I think Nick was irritated and even resentful of what was put upon him after the family break up. Aaron picked up on all this and just tried even harder. But underneath, I think he felt rejection. He felt rejection from his Dad, his older brother, his mother...After it was uncovered she had spent Aaron's money. She became an alcoholic. Another rejection for Aaron. His beloved sister died. The rest of the family were going through their own trauma, and were splintering...falling outs were all around him. Aaron's beloved family were no more. No wonder he turned to drugs. It's so sad watching this, knowing that his mind was so confused probably spinning with questions. Knowing this was the moment his life , in his eyes, was to crumble down around him. All he was showing so proudly in this episode would be gone soon. Never would he rise to this degree of happiness again.
This is the most insightful analysis of the demise of the Carter family unit, everything you've said makes complete sense. It is extremely sad, must be really awful to feel untouchable then have everything crumble before your eyes. Not trying to pin any blame on anyone, each of the family was going through their own turmoil, but if only their Mother stayed a little stronger, became the rock that supported the fractured unit, invested and not spent the money, not turned to drink for relief and dealt with it in a healthy way, then maybe that could have held them together, the poor kids would have felt they had some support through all these changes. I know it couldn't have been easy for her, but it was a selfish way to deal with things (hindsight is 20/20 though, and I'm sure if she foresaw exactly how things would play out she never would have dealt with it in that way, she must be completely broken by the consequences and I do feel sorry for her). His development was totally arrested and you could tell through all the social media videos all he sought was acceptance and relief from the pain (through drugs).Hope Aaron has found his peace now, so devastated for them all, but especially for him. It was so avoidable, it was like each blow that occured from this very moment was like a domino crashing, until all the pieces had fallen. RIP Aaron. I also feel sorry for Nick as their fall out was so public I imagine he will get a lot of undeserved backlash now Aaron has passed. Grief is so hard without the extra pressure of people pointing fingers. I hope people can remember to be kind following Aaron's tragedy.

I also lost some important things through a similar situation and negligence and from what you said i realise ill never forgive myself

One of the million examples where money doesn’t buy happiness. Rest In Peace
he didnt even have money. his parents spent it all and when he turned 18 all he had was 4 million and then it turned out the money his parents did spend they didnt play taxes on it. so he spent his 4 million to keep his parents out of jail just cause he was nice. he was left with nothing
Truth be told
His brother Nick had 10’s of millions! What a POS to do that to your little bro
One of the few* examples
Yes rip ac😢💟❤️🙏
He was literal living proof that money doesn’t buy happiness. I believe he never would’ve turned into an addict had he lived a normal childhood with caring parents. This kid was doomed from the start. Never cared much about his music, but I feel bad for him after hearing about his life. He could buy anything he wants, but in the end all he wanted was to be a normal kid with loving parents. Damn shame. RIP
its not about money doesnt buy hapiness............he didnt hav his own money and house. This is what destroyed him! his parents owned everything so after divorce he lost his ground
thank you for saying this. i wholeheartedly agree. everything traces back to his parents and how exploitative and mentally unhealthy they were. he didn't know how to give or attract any healthy relationship because he never got to see one.

And yesterday he was pronounce died at age 34 😭
Yea but theres lots of people who dont have it like this..poor , homeless, no real family..they all dont end up like Aaron..sounds like an excuse to me..he partied cause its fun and maybe a little to forget about the family problems..Im a 20 year recovering opiate addict..boredom was my reason..the thing is Aaron was drug tested cause he was on probation.. the only drugs he could have in his body where ones he had scripts for..so law enforcement should check out his doctor because Aaron to me seemed like he was strung out on ALOT of oxycontin or morphine or both..in alot of his recent videos he can be heard telling someone to call his docs cause his meds were missing or somebody stole..it was always some lie..but what was really happening was he did all his sht and ran out and had to make excuses to doc to get more..Ive done it many times to many doctors in the past..plus he probably had a semi crooked doc who he gave a small fortune too for his sht..also if you got a script for lets say oxy..now when he ran out and maybe his doc told him no occasionally then he could buy off the street..cause again he had a script and it wouldnt effect his probation... in his latest videos he looks like hes on fentanyl to me...hes out of it..pasty white..heroin eyes..just terrible..but I didnt like this guy very much..the drugs turned him into a pathological liar and one upper..all he ever talked about was how much money or stuff he had or what tax bracket he was in but all the while hes begging for donations on youtube live..lol..u could tell he was gonna die anyday..but yea the cops should visit his doc and see whats up..hollywood docs are notorious for giving their celebrity clients anything they wanted..basically samething that happened to M Jackson. Peace.
@@chrishendricks1160 thanks for your insight, so interesting and very true, I agree, so many people have it much worse, although it must be so demoralising to have all your issues displayed on a public platform, I imagine over time he just dealt with it by playing up to it, but I'm just theorising. You definitely shed a lot more light on it as you've been there, I admittedly know nothing about addiction. I do, however, unfortunately have experience of family bereavement and fall outs resulting from it, the grief and trauma surrounding it all. Yeah, OD deaths are so common in Hollywood and usually seem to be due to script drugs, its really such a big issue that needs to be looked into. 20 years recovering is such an achievement- all the best to you.
now he's gone😢
I think Arron said he lost his house when he was doing MTV cribs show he said he had to do the show knowing those were going to be his last days with everything in the house pretending everything was okay 😭 that’s sad
He used to be Justin beiber before Justin beiber back in the late 90s early 00s
Late 90s
He is not the old
PROUDmarine Puerto rico his first record he dropped was in 1997 called crush on you, so Yes late 90s.
Yep. No wonder why he's so bitter. At least Justin had Scooter Braun to pimp him and keep his finances in order. I'm sure Justin Bieber was dying to be like Aaron Carter and Scooter knew to turn him into the NEW Aaron Carter.
He really created a good life for his family may he rest in peace
He was so fun to watch. You couldn't tell what he was actually feeling that day. He knew about the divorce before they filmed this. Their parents told him to do it anyways so he did. He's been through so much. You could now finally rest, Aaron. 😞
Wow he was a great drummer! That was awesome! RIP AC
That was pretty basic drumming that anybody with an ounce of rhythm could do after a week of practice.
@@isaiahayers1550please just let them give a compliment. You must be so fun at parties !!
@@katteresa6174 compliments are cheapened when they're unearned. And yes, as a matter of fact I am.
Such a beautiful and sweet little boy. I am so so sorry for him. 😭😭😭
Rest in Peace Aaron Carter.
Poor Baby. I wish somebody had hugged and loved on him enough
Fun fact: 10 minutes before this Cribs episode was filmed, Aaron's mother informed him that she and his father would be getting a divorce. So, Aaaron had to show off this entire property knowing he would no longer be living there. :(
For real? Is there a source?
@@karlstrauss2330 the unbelievable Aaron said it

that's not fun
You believe any of his shit? Lmao
“I collect swords”
-Picks up floor sword while gripping the blade tightly with his bare hand
“I hang them up on the wall...and they stay there”
-Puts floor sword back on the floor where it belongs
“Make sure you do the same😎”
I fine example of DO what I SAY not what I DO.
Demonstrated by Aaron Carter
1:20 "To be honest I really don't know what's in here." Maybe because MTV rented out that house for the show lol
No, that's really was his house
Nick's house actually
@@Ysveth87 It's Aaron's parent's house, bought with Aaron's money
So he got everything… except for his Family Support. Lonely boy who desperately seek for love and acceptance. Hollywood is brutal. R. I.P. Aaron 😢
He was 15 in this and too young to take all the bad things that is gonna happen to him right after the recording of this. Always so sad for you Aaron. Rest in paradise 😢
RIP Aaron so sad to see his decline. Literally up to an hour before his death is on tik tok
So sad. He had too do this the day he found out his parents were divorcing.. he didn't even want to do it. Breaks my heart. RIP Aaron 🙏
Dudes record collection is 3 records lmao
The record he pointed at claiming it was Journey. It wasn't 🤷♀️
Technically that record was Cinderella. Lol
@Ana Paula What do you mean?
It's not his house?
Gimmie the tea girl!? 🥤👈 🤷♀️
@melly mel Big difference in band's 🤦♀️ He is so full of it, even now! Rocking his Tupac tshirt looking & acting like "Thug Nasty".
But his record collection includes his favorite "Journey"? I mean 🙄 Cinderella. Lmfao 🤘🤣
Anngeee You can’t like Journey and Tupac?
@@whayes8084 I'm not understanding what you wrote exactly? Can you be more clear so I understand. TY ✌❤
Now he begs for donations so his house won’t get taken away from him.
*oh, so thas why😐*
Tyra S. It’s true. Watch any of his TH-cam videos to see what a lying, scheming POS he is. He scams his fans constantly.

I know that a damn shame I had the biggest crush on aaron when I was a teenager!
Rest in Peace Aaron.
Now no more Pain & Heartache You are with Our Lord
I’ve worked in mental health. I was also a Christian preacher, who lost his faith. While being a preacher isn’t rockstar status, it’s still a life in the spotlight.
Once you’re in the spotlight, then out of it, all the people who admired you disappear. You go from being loved, to be hated almost instantly.
Man I still can't believe he is gone 😭 Aaron your real fans love you so much 😭 miss you forever
2000's programs makes me so many regards! RIP Aaron Carter, even you have a hard life, always you brother and sisters supported in everytime!!
I watched this when I was going threw a bad time . I was 16 and not well . I remember imagining I was him and how perfect my life would be . You never see these people’s problems till you grow up and they grow up and you see the results. Really I see a good kid trying to be cool like all of us we’re trying to act gangster which we all did . But in a lot of pain I didn’t see that till now . I’m happy I’m well but genuinely sad he passed and wasn’t
My ultimate crush back in 90s Aaron I'm gonna miss u forever!! Rip my love
When you have so much, so young.. and you’re higher than the clouds, there’s nowhere to go but down. RIP young man. You had a blessed life. Rest easy now
I'm so sad for him right now, i hope and pray he will be back to his normal life.
Nevar.. soon he will OD
