So here is one idea you can steal - there is probably no good video on explaining how to pull good decaf espresso shots. It would be so useful for people (including myself) who love to drink a couple of cups of coffee a day, but can not (because of health issues, stress etc.). Since decaf beans are completely different compared to normal ones, its really hard to nail a good espresso shot, so please go into depth about extraction process - brew ratios, temperature, grind size, extraction time. If you can do it that would be awesome :)
Thanks! I love pretty much all your stuff but this was just so fun! I feel like your new studio is like a step in your coffee journey. I'm on my own little coffee journey (at the very start) so it's fun that you are bringing us along on yours!! keep brewing up awesome stuff and cheers!
@Ethanrodecoffee Very nice set up. The equipment is beautiful. Why not get a 5 gallon water stand and bottle with a spout instead of going back and forth to the kitchen??
Thanks for sharing your coffee bar/room setup! I've been looking for some ideas for my own since I have tight space in our kitchen. I've been watching your videos for a long time now and I could definitely say your contents have improved!
This is wonderful to see! I remember when you dove into this full time and I was so excited for you! I’m so happy it’s coming to fruition and you have this awesome set up. 🎉
I actually love your consistency, you make high quality videos, in a daily basis, which I really respect. I've been watching your vids from a really long time too. One downside of being an old viewer, I have to see a lot of topic duplicates that you've made more than 1 video about. but still I like them anyways.
wooooow, color me impressed-very fancy☕️ please show us what’s in the drawers, I love learning how little things play into the process-this was a very well made video imo. thanks!
Its an all right setup, I would thrown in a small freezer to store coffee in pre dosed tubes in racks and possibly an automatic tamping machine but the latte is excessive
Great looking set up. Well done building it. I was so close to buying the Lelit Bianca V3 and Timemore 078s but somehow ended up with the ECM Mechanika Slim BI6 heritage and a eureka Migno Oro zero though I’ve a Gevi Grindmaster ordered.
love love love! idea for future show idea: invite me over to your coffee studio for a cupping. I'm a coffee noob and I love your content, attitude, and approach. thank you! ♡♡
great video! i do have a question though- what coffee beans do you use? I'm about to get a espresso setup and in one of your videos you mentioned that fresh roasted beans are best

Great Setup Bro. Maybe in the future i will make some YT Video for my Work Flow but dont know about setting the lightning etc. So far My Setup Bar are Slayer 1 group, Mythos 2 Gravimetric and backed Timemore 78S too but not arrived yet.
curious to approximately how long it takes to froth the milk with that machine. with the lower pump motor on breville bambino plus, one setting, but 4 holes, it’s about 45 seconds if I remember correctly from the last time I timed it.
Loovved this video. Im looki g to set up my own espresso station so this was video invaluable. I, for one, would love a video on the bits and bobs that sit in your draws. Btw, whete did you purchase your metal ice balls from your other video?
Since we are broke and have a low end espresso machine, can I steam my milk first before pulling my shots? this way the espresso will still be nice and hot and not sit and wait for the milk to steam, asking for a friend
What temperature do you use to steam and what pitcher size do you use? I have a Profitec Go (2 hole steam wand) and am struggling to get the right texture for latte art and would like something to compare to. Of course technique more important but would still like some reference
Ethan I've been debating which high end machine to purchase for my home.. never made espresso nor cappuccino but plan on learning on the fly.. I see you have lelit v3.. would this be a great choice To go with or can u recommend another machine.. I'd rather do one and done with the machine and have no buyers remorse. thanks great setup
I have questions What is the amount of coffe beans for espresso? How can i change the speed of my espresso machine?(its breville if you ask and also the problem that it drips so fast) And lastly what the amount of pressure to use in a espresso machine?
I usually use 18g of beans and get about 34-36g of espresso in about 25-30 seconds. If it's dripping out too fast it may be because you grind your beans too coarse. For good espresso i recommend 9 bars of pressure but anywhere between 7-11 is good. So: • 18g coffee for 34-36g espresso • Grind coffee finer (If you have built in grinder that's not fine enough: th-cam.com/users/shortsaxZlVDmT6Yc ) • 9 Bars of pressure
@@Ethanrodecoffee I found your cabinet! I'm wondering if you mounted a suspension rail for the cabinet, or if the cabinet is free-standing with all the weight on top. I'd appreciate your response :)

I was just thinking about this making a decaf cortado a couple minutes ago. I'd definitely like some pointers

Yeah
It really is.
No but really
@Ethanrodecoffee Very nice set up. The equipment is beautiful.

Yes-go through your tool drawers!😀
I love your videos! Making coffee is a stress relief process and by having all the right gear and a nice set up makes the process even better !
Your videos have gotten n me to start enjoying coffee that isn’t practically a dessert thank you, great video
I bought the Fluer glasses, 2 of each size. I love that the logo is on the bottom. Beautiful double walled glass.

I hope you can give us a tour of the other tools you used like your tamping station and other stuff
I need a setup like that. That ice is definitely the best. I would def watch a video detailing everything in the drawers

Has to be my favorite video thus far

this rules i felt like I got to own this stuff vicariously for like 9 minutes and it was maybe the best 9 minutes of my life
Can you please add more on how you built coffee bar table from IKEA ?

Hey Ethan! Do you mind sharing what cabinets / table top you used from IKEA?
Agreed! Please share
+1
It looks like the Enhet. It's part of a kitchen cupboard/countertop configurator wizard on the Ikea site
Dude your setup is lit 🔥

Great video! I would like to know if it was a double shot porta filter you used and what was the grinding setting you used as well??
Very nice coffee bar! Cheers, I really like your videos, unfortunately I cannot rationalize getting the legit Bianca but oh well I still love coffee
Love it man! I only do pour-over atm, but watching your shorts and long-form has got me wanting an espresso set up in the future. Maybe Santa... 😁
I hope Santa brings you something nice!
This is amazing 🤩🔥 thanks Ethan!!
Thank you :)

حبيت تصميم البار في البيت .. لو كمل وخلى ما حوله كأنه كافيه تماماً وأخفى الثلاجة .. يعني كافيه في بيت 😇

Awesome, can u share your knockbox or knockdrawer for used puck in the basket after the shot? Thanks
do this again but make filter coffee! for us who don't have an espresso setup

Where do you get those tall double walled glasses with the lips

Ethan make a video where you recommend different espresso machines for beginners

Great setup! I just picked up a V3 and am loving it so far... Are you filming with the Ray Ban Meta glasses?
Have you made any mods to your Timemore? I wanted to know what specifically made you choose the Timemore for espresso over the DF64.

Nice setup and good clear video on your routine. What camera did you use to film when doing your routine?
I also would like to know where the sideboard/table is from
New flur glasses? 👀
Hehe
this is sooo cool
What happened to the Arco Grinder? Any reason for choosing the sculptor/df64 over it?
I have questions
What is the amount of coffe beans for espresso?
How can i change the speed of my espresso machine?(its breville if you ask and also the problem that it drips so fast)

I usually use 18g of beans and get about 34-36g of espresso in about 25-30 seconds. If it's dripping out too fast it may be because you grind your beans too coarse. For good espresso i recommend 9 bars of pressure but anywhere between 7-11 is good.

• 9 Bars of pressure
Hey Dude! Love the video, just wanted to ask how long your coffee bar / table is ?
i never thought i’d ever feel poor because of coffee gear
Are you going to get the nanofoamer pro?
I love your set-up man! can you share the info of Ikea cabinet? I'm trying to look up, but it's hard to find!
A little confusing. I purchased the kitchen cabinets separate, the counter top separate and built them
@@Ethanrodecoffee I found your cabinet! I'm wondering if you mounted a suspension rail for the cabinet, or if the cabinet is free-standing with all the weight on top. I'd appreciate your response :)

@@itsameandrea it's IKEA Enhet kitchen cabinet
@@seunghwanlee90 thanks mate. Appreciate it
What’s the name of the coffee bar you use
What is the total cost of this equipment?
Thanks
Please, please, please help me make cafe de olla it's hard to find and cost more than I can afford
does anyone know the name of the tamper he used?
Normcore
I'm surprised you don't udr some sort of bean tubes, opening the atmos for every shot would be so annoying to me
So now teach us how to make good coffee without all the fancy equipment cause its a struggle lol
Where's your table from? Where your machines lies
IKEA! I bought ikea cabinets and an ikea countertop and created the table. It’s technically not a table you can buy in one piece
I really want one of your machines but can’t afford 😢😢😢they look so cool I wish I had one😢

Expensive setup, but terrible pull. That shot ran too fast and too long. Pro tip for everyone: learn the basics before spending all this money.
Did you taste it
It ran for about 28 or 29 seconds. That's just fine
SORRY, BUT WHO TF ARE YOU??
