God help you if you end up in UT hospital ( formerly known as ETMC ) or Southplace Nursing home. Southplace failed miserably to properly do wound care on a partial foot amputation for my mother, resulting in another amputation just below the knee. She then had a stroke that UT didn't bother to diagnose even though the signs were painfully obvious, that went untreated for three days. She's now bed ridden and has to be cared for 24/7. Avoid these two facilities if at all possible. The staff at these facilities are uncaring, unprofessional and terribly incompetent.
