From what I've been playing GI, the last sad and most recent thing I saw was on Watatsumi Island, finding Teppei totally short of life. And he hit me hard for what he himself said totally disappointed: Believing that it was he himself who was improving and could catch up with who motivated him more; ether And now his whereabouts are not known, but the clearest thing is that he will not live long
makes me think about a different ending where dvalin is so lost and corrupted they have no choice but to put him out of his misery but that would've made the story get too dark too fast imo
