Tempted, but as you’ve mentioned, there is one potential problem. In that Bambu could if it wished, render this screen in operable. In addition, I’ve seen posts which suggest that Bambu is working on a paid-for large replacement screen.
    I think I’ll wait-and-see 😉

Nice catch with the issue with multiple model types being sent one print job. Any ideas what you think was happening? I thought all the calibration routines were performed 'on printer' so the BTT wouldn't need to manage any hardware differences.

I have a couple issues with mine, 1. It won’t send the file on 5v dc switch position connected to the P1S usb, I think the draw is too much because the screen just reboots. 2. When in battery it sends the files to the Printers but doesn’t start the print. I have the newest firmware so not sure what’s going on. I believe it’s because my group has an AMS enabled P1 with a non AMS P1. Also you can’t delete a group once created you just keep adding them or to them. The Panda touch is a solution that wasn’t needed but as a geek I couldn’t resist, so maybe it should be called a Pandering Touch.

Bought mine two weeks ago direct from Big Tree. Mixed feelings. The usb cable they supplied with the unit was faulty and wouldn't power it or anything else no matter if I used my P1S USB port or a dedicated USB source. Just a dud cable. Second issue. The only thing that works with the Panda Touch on 5V mode is using a 100 watt PD charger cable on a PD charger. The USB port on the P1S won't start it no matter the cable. The screen just "flickers". So maybe you will be lucky, maybe you won't. Looks good when it works but not worth the hassles I've encountered.

ps1, I never use that screen. I use iMac or handy or MacBook. I Never use Ps1 or x1c screens for that matter. Would like a better camera for the ps1 though. I looked at Panda since they announced it as well, but they were missing features.
