For 7 years the millions of dollars of maintenance money has disappeared to maintain the Uwawera national park The huts, bridges and other assets have gone into diss repair and no pest control is being done. This is the future of co governance.

Pest control - humans, they are the pest of the planet, destroying it and destroying wildlife. Greed on top of their list!!

nothing like ethnic segregation, dissidents warehoused in the "mental health" system, torture, targeted killings to make a happy country.
if you tightey-whitey-righies are so sure about this, go on and have David Seymour's referendum.
just require separate majorities of Māori roll voters and general roll voters to confirm his changes.
(or you're willing to use white voters to overrule - once again - the clearly expressed will of Māori Peoples, and what is clearly best for Māori)

If governance is passed to unelected leaders, Moari or not, sooner or later the populace is going to be faced with a Hitler, Stalin or Putin who cannot be voted out by universal suffrage no matter what they do. It is imperative that we do not go down the slippery slope of compromising democratic processes by having so called co governance with unelected tribal leaders, who are given the power of veto over elected representatives of all of the inhabitants of New Zealand

Co governance is a measure of reinvesting what was violently stolen from Maori . The people who have commented previously I would question whether they know the factual history of their own country. The government is too feeble to give it back so pesky co governance it is for now.

@@jamesbarnes6561 When democracy falls, which looks inevitable now all of New Zealand will lose. Even the tribal elite will rule over ruins when they could have kept their snouts in the trough of ongoing full and final settlements. But that was not enough.
