Interesting video. I usually end up doing at least 2 coats of white, especially gloss white. I was looking to see how you did a color. I agree rollers give a good solid color. Interesting on the 30 day or so dry period. I do know it is easy to nick the paint off and have to spot paint, but pvc trim is the way to go in a bathroom around showers and floor baseboards. Well done and thank you for the time.
Pvc trim was put around a shower surround. Screws were used. I would like to know how to hide the holes. The handyman filled up the holes, but I can still see them. It looks terrible. Thank you!
I use Platinum Patch interior and exterior holes. I have heard Bondo makes a good cover too. I too use pvc trim around showers, then spend a couple of coats of fill on holes. You get a small issue with plastic trim , but you avoid worse problems with wood.
Use top of the line paint such as Sherman Williams's emerald line of paint and my favorite Benjamine Moore Aura. They are self priming and adheres to almost everything except silicon.
As stated in the video, we recommend using a 100% acrylic latex paint on PVC trim. When using an automotive paint, it may not adhere to the PVC without a primer.

Did you try this? How did it work?
@@IH8CA I have not tried it yet
@@lillithjones993 OK, thanks for the reply! I've got a small project i'm working on, i'll give Platinum Patch a try.
Can u use oil base
How well will the paint fuse or bond to the pvc. Will it peel or flake?

Always use a bonder primer like U M A.....paint won't stick to a Shiney surface so you have to "scuff" the surface first
Why wouldn't you use automotive paint or automotive bumper and trim paint?
