thanks for showing this, helps as i just about to do it now. that screwdriver bit, is top-quality. I had to do a similar ‘make-do’ with a smaller size, and it fragmented/exploded with the strain. the screwdriver bit not the nut. take care all.

Sorry to second-comment…but finding the oil capacity is quite hard for this car, and with it on ramps, it’s just helpful to get it roughly right, and start the engine, and check for leaks, before dropping it down and using the dipstick…Renault have excelled themselves with the owner’s handbook this time - plenty of user sites etc, saying try the handbook, or see our description - but the capacity is not there…anyway it’s 4.1 litres of 5W30, although 10W40 and another one, are all spec’d as ok. All fully synthetic. So, I put around 3.8 litres (almost 4 US Quarts?) in, ran the engine while still on ramps, and on taking it down, there was a little more to reach the top mark on the dipstick, having allowed it to settle down. So, I confirm 4.1 litres seems ok, and naturally, if you put in ‘clio tce 90 4.1 litres oil’ you will see this i]has corroboration!
Don’t know about anyone else, but under the car the main panel you removed has two little brackets partly attached to it, the small 10mm or rather M10 bolts, connecting these, get chewed up, plus on our Clio tce 90, the ‘nut’ end of the bolts furthest from the front bumper, are on a little pressed-steel cross-bar and they are badly attached - so one started to spin round, making it impossible to undo.
After a bit, I undid everything ELSE holding the panel on, then skewed the panel enough to get vice grips onto the tiny stupid little ‘nut’ bit that’s spinning and hold it so the bolt could be undone! Absolutely situation normal of course, once rust sets in, with salted roads, the bolt just was tighter-bound to the little nut-piece than the nut-piece was held to the little cross-bar. Rain stopped play as it were, and a hurried bodge with a tie-wrap was done, after the oil and filter got done. Nest time, I will make sure it’s not dark, or raining, and will have cooked up a ‘proper’ way to bodge it, or obtained two little brackets that are suitable, and figured a way around the spinning bolt issue. İ have a problem with 0.9 tce..when i come to traffic lights and stop.. while my foot is on the brake, the idle suddenly drops to 500 and it seems to stop, the vehicle is shaking, please help me?

This car was not equipted with lpg system but try to locate it around the tank ; I would advise extra caution while working with lpg
