I'm watching episode 30 and can't wait for more episodes. I love this drama so much that I don't want it to end at 48 as I can go on watching as each episode unfolds the next chapter. Every episode is so interesting and I have a rollercoaster of emotions watching it! I feel for HaiShi, I feel for JiangMing and ZhouYing... Who knows how it will end🤔, can't even bear to think about it right now, but I feel a knot in my heart for these two beautiful people who are together but not together! A love between a master and his disciple, one so objective and strong willed, the other so demonstrative but have to be restraint in her love for him. I do dread the ending whatever it is but hope there will be a beautiful ending. 💓💗💓

I don't know how long this is going to go on for, but Master is such a stiffy (and not in the romantic way). He's cruel to Haishi by shutting her out and telling her nothing but 'go rest early'. That 14th son is looking better and better. I wish the Textile mistress would find out that her Master Fang is really the Mr. Wind she fell in love with ages ago. I think his Majesty has a shock coming with regard to his 'sister'. I hope he can finally give his concubine the love she deserves. Here's hoping my wishes will come true in the next few episodes.

Unpopular opinion: I don't want Haishi and Jian Ming to end up together. For one: He kind of raised her. That's creepy. And two: He treats her pretty badly at least half of the time. Even if he's trying to protect her or himself, he's kind of cruel in doing so. I would rather her end up with someone else. Sorry, not sorry.
I don't think they make a great couple
It's forbidden love you can't help who you fell in with and he keeps pushing her away to protect her for many reasons that's what you do when you love someone you know you shouldn't be with or can't bring them happiness or you're dying and have no control of his life bc he's bond to the empire with baixi in his case...trust me I know the feeling wanting to push someone away even though you love them so much 😢.
