I love dramas so much. Ponytail = clearly a dude. No ponytail = A LADY?! Like usually they can at least fabricate an excuse for someone to notice her child bearing hips or a cheeky boob graze... but the ponytail...😂
The BG music and the fabulous cinematography make this the one of the best Cdrama films. The continual tension in the story from the threats of the traitors - the fact that Jianming was just poisoned the night he married Haishi. And then this - the set up to expose Haishi - makes it all heart wrenching. Add all that to the ethereal beauty of actress Yang Mi who plays Haishi. Ms.Chen Xiao Yun as Princess Ti Lan is lovely. William Chan and Xu Kai Cheng are so elegant & handsome. I still have not watched the last 4 episodes because I know it all goes bad. 😪

See I never really could forgive the man. He marries the girl. Spends the wedding night with the girl knocked out. Then next day he looks his best friend the emperor in the eye and asks him to take her in as a consort. She should have slapped his ass and kicked him in the balls so many times before she even considered forgiving him. I love the show but he is an ass to her.
BS, woman or man, they all had a long hair, what's the difference? Many Chinese movies try to tell us woman is not recognised by her physique, behaviour, manners etc
