Someone needs to do a video or videos about using a 9-1/2" gear set in a 9" housing. They last 3x longer than 9" gears and only require a different spool.
Question. Have a ford galaxie 500. With a 445 stroker in it. With 9 inch rear trying to do sum research on rear end gears. I want power. To play with like at the strip , but I want to be able to drive it on the weekends and take it on the highway what would u suggest , like 3.73 ?
There are several variables here. That is definitely the most common ratio we use. You might download the Tremec Toolbox App and play with the Transmission, Tire Size, MPH information and see where you'd be at with your specific setup.
