WITHFULLFORCE88 as soon as I am able to review the new sport I will do but with everything happening here I don’t know how long that will be. Hope you are enjoying the channel and stay safe
Great car for the money. Not as refined as other cars in this class but great for towns and occasional long distance. Suspension is quite hard but its great on country roads. I have never had to raise an ice scraper to it as it defrost itself completely ( all windows and mirrors) in about 3 mins. After doing 50,000 miles in my 2018 1L swift the average milage is 47.5 mpg (49mpg when new). I would buy another one.
They are good value for money, i know they have increased in cost but so has the amount of tech as well. Yes they are a little firmer but not that much and it does make for a more enjoyable drive on back roads
50,000 miles and not one issue. Let's see what happens after the 60,000 warranty runs out! I use mine to teach people to drive and it's standing up to the punishment really well. Mine is a 1l engine and does about 48mpg
Great little cars , worth taking 1 for a test drive and see what you think. I am not sure which country and where you would be buying the car but in the UK there seems to be a few deals about. Hope you enjoyed the video and some of the other content on the channel.
I had one if those with the cracking one litre turbo non hybrid engine. Just a very quick little runaround great fun and practical too. Sadly they stopped the one litre for the less powerful one you have there. Emissions etc.
Yeah the sport is a cracking motor but with the 1litre turbo you got 90pct of the fun for 70pct of the cost. 0 to 60 and top end pretty much the same as the Vitara S. Quick enough for an old guy like me.
I only had the car for the day so I could not tel you about issue on long term ownership. I would suggest joining a Facebook group about the swift and ask the question there. sorry I could not be any more help
The paintwork does chip easily. My swift has done 50,000 miles and it has more chips than any car I have previously owned at this mileage. Having said that, I love my swift both for my personal use and in my professional role as a driving instructor. It's very easy to drive and stands up to all the rigours of novice drivers. Not great on the motorway but adequate. Great town car, fantastic turning circle and very nippy. My favourite roads to take it on are the windy country lanes, it loves corners. You won't find a better car for the money. The service plan is a bit odd, every 12,500 Miles but every service is different. Different costs, different stuff that gets changed, I don't understand it but no doubt it works because nothing seems to go wrong, so far anyway!
I have a 1 litre Boosterjet. It's boot space is small for family. But for rhe engaging ride and economy, I cannot find a sedan which such merits yet. Any suggestions?
I have 2020 model Suzuki swift hybrid but I don’t no how to activate the hybrid system because it shows when ever I drive 0 fuel saved can u please help me
Hi Tomy .The fuel saved in millilitres ( ml ) is only measuring the savings with the engine Stop / Stsrt system which turns off car at traffic lights .For some very strange reason the stop/start system doesn’t work in Swift's if you select the windscreen demist function . So make sure fan is blowing air towards you or your feet but not windscreen and you should see the (tiny !)savings start
The main review is coming out in the next couple of days In the more traditional format so I hope that is more suitable. Was just trying something a bit different 😊
What would you recommend to change the hybrid 2020 1.2 timing chain on my suzuki swift as ive lost the handbook for services ive done 41000 miles so far...Its driving fine at the moment. 👍
The man is on the A27 . Interior looks a bit basic and cheapo to me , and starts at 14k now, though I'm sure discounts available. Could be a new scrappage scheme in the new year
It is a bit basic or unrefined but it does the job and infotainment system works really well. I use the android auto for sat available as theirs costs £200, no thanks!
If you go from a newer petrol car to this you wouldn't notice the change in MPG. If you go from a 14 year old car that's getting you 30 MPG if you're lucky you'll notice a huge difference
Do you like the look of the car
Yes
Are you an existing swift owner or just like cars 😀
Waiting for the new Swift Sport hybrid, I have one from 2019 and want to check out the difference. Greetings from Germany 🤘🏻

I have this car, but with manual gearbox. I love it and in mixed I do 17,3 km/l

Josh is the star of the video. Suzuki's are meant to be reliable
Helpful but sure on the star

I have the 2018, not a hybrid, but thinking about changing as I love driving this little car

Very true
Hello, im looking at a 2nd hand model 2020, but have read about paint chipping issues on these models, esp red ones.
I only had the car for the day so I could not tel you about issue on long term ownership. I would suggest joining a Facebook group about the swift and ask the question there. sorry I could not be any more help

Suzuki as a brand is know for its reliability, strange about the paint chipping.
Does the aircon work without the engine running?
Yes,was this an issue on other models ?
Thanks for clearing that up! Some of these mild hybrid systems are only for the drive train and doesnt feed the other electrical systems
I have a 1 litre Boosterjet. It's boot space is small for family. But for rhe engaging ride and economy, I cannot find a sedan which such merits yet. Any suggestions?

It is a hybrid assist rather than a PHEV or full hybrid so you cannot choose. It will come in to help with a bit of acceleration and pulling away.
It's not a full hybrid, it's a mild hybrid. It only uses battery power when Pulling off and in stop/start traffic. It will help with MPG

Does every version of the Swift get a Josh or do higher versions get a proper satnav?
Robert Langham Special edition version, how did you find the POV style review
@@DamoDrives I didn't really want to be critical but it didn't work for me, made me feel decidedly ill but I do get vertigo so maybe that's why 😬
The main review is coming out in the next couple of days In the more traditional format so I hope that is more suitable. Was just trying something a bit different 😊
Hello i just got a swift 2020 modle 2 hand and i notice the battery goes down very fast when going up hill is that normal? thanks
What would you recommend to change the hybrid 2020 1.2 timing chain on my suzuki swift as ive lost the handbook for services ive done 41000 miles so far...Its driving fine at the moment. 👍
I had a couple of Suzuki's, never had to change timing chains. They are good up to 150k kms (at which point I ditch them).
Do the wing mirrors go in I have this car and can’t tell if they do or not haha don’t want to push and brake them
Sorry Amy I do not remember 😳, I try and cover a lot of things in my reviews but not that. Good little car 👏
The man is on the A27 . Interior looks a bit basic and cheapo to me , and starts at 14k now, though I'm sure discounts available. Could be a new scrappage scheme in the new year
Prices do change and we’re correct at the time the video came out

Are there other Hybrid maruti cars?
Who is Josh and why is he there?
Was helping me do the filming so was In the car at the same time
MotorSport & Dream Cars oh ok, he seems cool :)
Does it have an automatic box?
I think there is an option
@@DamoDrives yes it does, 1.0ltr as well
Thank you for the information 👏
Very nice
Great little car and looking forward to review the sport when i is released in the uk and i am able to review it. Would you consider getting 1
I'm back on the video for s 2nd viewing.
Really pleased you are enjoying the video and hopefully some of the other videos on the channel 😊
Just got the new sz l and it keeps saying idling stop unavailable? Battery has 2-3 bars if that matters
I am going to pick up a new Swace today so will ask the dealer
I have found if the air con is on then it does not work. When you switch it off, stop start works. Hope that helps.
4 cilinders
Yes it is
Nice car
it is a good small car with lots of tech for the money
It only does 5 mpg more than the standard petrol car.
Lower emissions as well I think so good for the environment and helps Suzuki hit there co2 emissions targets
If you go from a newer petrol car to this you wouldn't notice the change in MPG. If you go from a 14 year old car that's getting you 30 MPG if you're lucky you'll notice a huge difference
Thought white was free
They don't have key start... It's a push button start...doh!!
.......it is eco friendly....
POV ??? isnt that a thing on pornhub ?
There are driving videos on that channel as well 😂😂
@@DamoDrives oh yeah , beware of the FAKE TAXI
