Been playing BM forever. Love it. Even if marks is stronger I’m staying BM. My main reason is. I love ranged, but hate standing still casting. BM gives me the exact play style I like. Plus who doesn’t love pets. I’d love to see survival reworked again into a tank spec. We don’t have a single tank who’s off spec is ranged.
I wish they would redesign casters, like I main casters in many other games but not WoW. The standing still penalty is an extremely unfun mechanic if you ever broaden your casting horizons - I didn't realize how much before I did broaden my views with those other games. I think it shows really well in Demonology - I honestly feel BM (and unholy) is a more successful summoner than it, just because your clunky design completely falls apart if your summoning setup is disturbed by a boss, you are at the full mercy of the boss mechanics. BM can be creative and play around them, unless it's designed to hit you.

And btw: melees have problems as well so a hunter is, in my opinion, on a very unique position that should not be overwritten to other classes

Man it is a very nice video tbh!! i play warlock now as an alt together with my warrior and i feel that warlock ramp up so slow!! but once he has ramped up it is great!! but i find it hard sometimes to survive group of mobs etc! with my warrior is it a piece of cake! great aoe, sustain everything! im looking this and at a ranged spec! maybe i will level up ele shaman! it looks nice with nice aoe and dmg i guess! and help team at m+ and raids!!
I've always liked Demo and like the feel of it, but it just doesn't compete with destruction or affliction when played perfectly. Not even sure why they're afraid to buff the numbers a bit, fair trade for it considering the ramp up time imo. Levelling a Shadow priest now and it's certainly more fun than previous expansions.
I love demo, but i hate imps. I have no problem with the summoned one, its cool. But i dont want an imp gang. I wish there was a glyph that would change it to something else.
@@Kevlord22 i wish hand of guldan only summon 1 imp but it's strength is based on soul shard spent on casting it. And remove implosion. Just change it like how blizzard on mages, cast and forget

@@ganxtafuli had the same problem in choosing, but decided to go for ele shaman. the reason is that shadow is very likely going to get nerfed soon because it is to strong in everything. shaman however is pretty decend right now but not out of control and has more chances of not getting nerfed that quickly. besides that, shaman has a LOT of good arena comps (mage,rogue,warlock,warrior,boomkin).

Well, gameplay wise having to use Phoenix Flames does offer more engaging gameplay(takes some time to get use to though), however I just think it was cool to have fire spreading everywhere passively. Felt like it was a cool part of Fire fantasy.

a lot of info, and not for beginners :) A lot of wow-terminology that a new-beginner might struggle with. I saved this video to view again when i understand the lingo better. It went way over my head. It is very well made and good, just not for a newbie like myself to choose class from, my head was buzzing afterwards :)
at least half of the specs dont feel fun outside of the dps cd. thats because they grant haste or crit which is noticable. specs should always feel fast and dps cds should just be a 20% dmg increase and nothing else
Was torn between a frost/arcane mage main or the rogue. Somehow I ended up choosing the boomkin for the utility fun and tank option as I mainly like mythics. I'm just hoping I can come to love the eclipse system🤷♂️
For raiding I'd go Warlock, guilds are always recruiting Warlocks for their unique utility: Demonic Gateway and Summoning Portal. No one needs another mdps in their group. DK for M+, if you plan to tank. If you're going yo mdps faceroll might as well go Warlock instead. Nobody needs another mdps in their group.
Well i was going to main aff lock one of my fav spec in the game but with all the nerfs and forcing choosing Bastian i have lost all interest in it, so going frost mage for sl now.

Mage overall is better for all of those if youre looking to only DPS. If you go Shadow, there are times you might be stuck healing if Shadow ends up not being too strong. Frost imo will be better in M+. Does lots of damage, Time Warp, Invis, Ice Block. Plus roots with Nova will help a lot. Shadow will prob better in Raids. PVP. Ide say Mage if you want to only DPS.
@@loganmontuori the only problem is BM can do everything MM can do but has vastly better mobility. And since all boss fights require lots of movement, BM usually comes out near the top of the charts out of just not having to worry about it.
I'm playing marksman, lone wolf, and doing insane levels of damage. I'm not max level yet though, level 48. You can use bursting shot to push mobs in range of your multi shot cleave esp in dungeons.

Except that DK’s AMS is especially useful and powerful in SL, so DK’s will actually be in demand for that.
