    Прекланям се пред талантът Ви и хилядите часове труд който сте вложили в пеене..... Поклон.
    Бъдете здрави!

      Every folk music is a treasure that the left and elites want to destroy with their inclusive revolution.

    • @kabouktli
      @kabouktli 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cheytacpraetoriancomposite3413 This music is only remotely related to bulgarian folk music. It is based on a folk nucleus, but it is clearly the work of elites and (sorry to say) the left - the socialist folklore.

    • @chistachkata
      @chistachkata 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@kabouktli Това не е вярно, полифонията е нещо типично българско, идете в Разлог, младите момчета се събират вечер и пеят в полифония, без песента им да е обработена от Филип Кутев. Така си пеят, Филип Кутев пренесе това знание върху целия ни фолклор.
      This is simply untrue. Polyphonic singing is a typical Thracian/Bulgarian feature. It can still be observed in the Razlog/Bansko region, where young lads gather in the evenings and sing polyphonic tunes without Philip Koutev, the director/conductor of our socialist time adapting their songs.
      He simply transferred this existing knowledge to all the Bulgarian folklore. Do not underrate what he has achieved, all the world has heard about Bulgaria thanks to him.
      The so-called Byzantium church singing is similar to that, Byzantine, but created by the Bulgarian Yoan Kukuzel.

    • @kabouktli
      @kabouktli 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chistachkata The few times that I've heard true folk polyphonies from Bulgaria, by village people apparently alien to any kind of official training, it was very different from this. It was not "sweet", not "mysterious", it was rather wild, often with daring dissonances, of a general aesthetic similar to that of Greek Epirot, Albanian, or Macedonian folk polyphony. Really fascinating, obviously archaic and real, but not as catchy and easy listening as to make the world talk abut Bulgaria.

    For those who would like to have a list of songs, I can contribute one at least. The piece beginning at 44:40 or so is Messetschinko lio Gre_livko (Love Song from the Mountains). A version of it is found on the celebrated album, Le Mystere des voix Bulgares (Nonesuch Records), which introduced many of us to this music back in 1987.

      Thanks man, I am one of those people who take too much effort to collect everything related to Bulgarian culture, thank you very much appreciated! I have as well some songs´ names, here you have, if you do not have these pieces names: the last song is "Zaburil beh da se zhenya", in 33:08 the song is "Rechenski Kamen", but I have just one part of the lyrics from 34:02 check it...
      1. Реченски камен река загреда, порво са либе геч забурева,
      порво са либе геч забурева, геч забурева зор прибалева.
      Я си ма дайте дено си галям, дено си галям, галям, драговам. /2
      Я да си зома дено си галям, галям, драговам, милно милувам,
      ил' да си стана мермерен камен, мермерен камен, сребърен копан.
      2. Та ма носете сей долу, долу, сей долу, долу дор двене реки,
      дено са сбират малькине моми, малькине моми, млади невести.
      малькине моми платно да белят, млади невести дрипе да перат. /2
      А га ми дойде мойна севдица копань да фати, камень да пукне,
      копань да фати, камень да пукне, да я попърсне в белоно лице.
      If you know cyrillic and you wanna sing, at least, this part, then I hope you enjoy this song, I hope as well return here and offer them more contributions, greetings from Mexico
      😊😉
      I forgotten one thing: if you want to see some of these songs and others, you can check it in the Simona Stanoeva channel, she appears here in this ensamble.

    This kind of music makes me realize that one day I’ll (though “I’ll” will not apply) one day never hear music again, and I truly pre-mourn that fact, and I’m saying this because this is a perfect example of why that is a predominant aspect of death that hurts me - to lose the amazing art we have created, beautiful music that transcends as well as reflects our collective spirit and dreams. It is worth being healthier to stay longer, it is worth existing even with nobody and living in a homeless shelter- which I do- all the more with access to music such as this, openlibrary, all our amazing cinema, access to public piano’s - just- thank fuck for art, and nonetheless I’ll be listening to this on repeat for the rest of my life.

      Each composition has its own region of origin within the country. There are some specifics from which you can tell which region the song is from. For example if there are sudden stops before the phrase ends or there are very high short "yells" (Shopluk). Or if the song is more even and minor in sound (Thrace). The style of the songs has been modeled through different historical influences like the Ottoman rule over the years. What makes it different is the technique - women are singing mainly from the throat, not so much like western belcanto supported from the diafragm. This way of singing is much more demanding on the vocal chords. Also the vocal range in the folklore songs is very short - only 1 octave.

      Това не е съвсем вярно- много от Родопските, Севернешките песни и т.н .са повече от октава!! А , османското робство почти не е повлияло на начина на муз.мислене , още повече на звукоизвличане.По-скоро е обратното...Всяка нар.песен в темпо(независимо от размер и стил )има класическа, европейска муз.форма , това важи и за болшинството безмензурни песни .А, ладовете са обичайните за Европа + няколко старинни такива + макамите , повлияни от Византийската ортодоксална музика!!Ехоооо....😊😂

    The english translation of the words to the songs should be provided. I do believe they sing to spread a message not for fame and glory.

      Actually they are singing for everyday's life - rites, observances, daily routines [e.g. a granny manually sowing onions :) ] and tbh it is very difficult even for us natives to get the lyrics as they comprise lots of obsolete words and phrases :)

      What do you mean they should? They're singing for enjoyment and beauty not for you. I don't speak Bulgarian either but I can enjoy it all the same

    These are only Bulgarian national costumes, simply many peoples that today we call Slavs accepted the culture, language (alphabet) and Orthodox Christianity from the Bulgarians.

    Performance 10/10, recording 6/10. Even turning the volume down on my end, there are more than a few moments where the sound distorts when they're all singing together, or when they sing louder sections. My guess is that they had one set of mics that were set too hot for those sections.
