I was drooling over all of your WIPs!! The Lydia sampler from blackbird went on my wishlist, I’m definitely going to have to kit that up! ❤❤❤ You and Sarah are always so inspiring, I love watching you two! 😉
Sarah your WIP parade was so full of lovely designs and varied by designers. Like you, I had to buy HOD Christmas Folk with the extra ornament design. I have Spring Folk just started but I know I want Christmas Folk on my wall this next Christmas😃. And even today I was going through my 28 WIPs as I start this New Year so your video is inspiring me to get them done! Thanks for sharing and best wishes for 2025 stitching all the things❤️
@@nancyevans7609 oh wonderful! So we probably have about the same number of wips. I feel comfortable around this number. I just want to stitch all the things!!!
I have a hard time with designs that only use one color of floss - however, your stitch with the Dracula floss is so gorgeous! That could make me change my mind - maybe. Fun wips to work on this year. I am stitching Christmas at Hollyberry Farms and last year finished Winter Rose Manor. Will be a fun year of stitching!
@@christy428texas oh maybe that can be a new thing to try this year! I really love not having to change colors. I bet if you had a beautiful variegated floss that you just love it would make it easier. Oh you could start with a smaller one and see how you like it. Luminous fiber arts has some really cute small monochromatic pieces.
I love Harvest Moon by Annie Beez. So I put it on my wish list. A friend of mine is going to Patches and Stitches in Huntsville tomorrow so I asked her to look for Go Tell it on The Mountain. I will start it and hope to finish by Christmas. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful stitching.
"Tis the Season" (Home for the holidays book) looks so nice on that fabric (I thought you finished it). I started mine on the called for fabric/color. I may have to stitch it twice. :) Nice WIP parade & I loved seeing the bags/keepers too. Happy Stitching!!!
You have some lovely WIPS! I hope your recovery is going well. I have kitted up Dasher and Dancer to work on. I have foot surgery scheduled later this month and hope to make lots of progress on it while it heals. Thanks for sharing!
Always happy to see your flosstube come up--great wip parade! I will be stitching Olgas stocking, Floral Motif Sampler and Willing Hands with you. I've started them all, just a couple of months ago! Have a great week and keep healing and making progress on your ankle. Prayers for you. @cbellsew
You have several i have kitted just haven't started. I'm trying to finish spring folk I've been stitching managimous on it since like Sarah we have 10 plus inches of snow in southeastern Ohio.
@@user-Angela.D I just use the books app that comes on the iPad. It’s not a cross stitch program. I just use the highlighter on there to highlight but I love it. I’ve heard good things about good notes too.
Your stitching is beautiful! I struggle with choosing the right fabric and yours is always on point. Unfortunately I don't have an LNS so I have to order online. Crazy how different fabric looks when you get it vs what's pictured. Would you mind sharing where you get your fabrics from? Thank you 😊
@@milliemg126 I get most things from 123stitch. I also like farm girl dry goods and Hollis hands create. You can always message me if you want a second opinion on a fabric ❤️
I enjoyed watching your video and seeing your wisp’s. It is great to see so many options for unique Aida cloth. I was able to use the resources you mentioned to me to find places to hand dyed Aida. You mentioned that you put some of your charts on your iPad to stitch from. Are you using a software program for that or just taking pictures of the charts? Thanks so much for the inspiration!
@@sherylphipps6382 oh good! I personally just take pics of the chart and put it on books - that comes on the iPad. I have friends that use good notes and love it.
I enjoyed seeing all of your WIPS. A couple you shared reminded me that I wanted to stitch them as well. Like you, I am an aida stitcher. How many threads do you use when you stitch 18 count? I stitched an ornament on 18 count using one thread and didn’t care for the coverage. Can two strands be used or is that too bulky? I hope you are able to put weight on your foot soon. That must be so frustrating. I crushed a vertebrae in my back, back in the day and I couldn’t lift anything for 2 1/2 months. I had a 4 month old baby and it was so frustrating. So I hope you are able to start moving around very soon.
@@barbaracarbone8101 oh gosh I can’t imagine caring for a baby during that injury. Goodness. So I always use 1 strand for 18 count but it really is up to the stitcher if they are ok with the coverage. Have you tried 20 count with 1 strand?
@@pattyshadle8749 ok so aida is stitched over one. Linen is when you do over two. I like one strand coverage on 16 count if it is picture this plus. Picture this plus 16 count stitches like an 18 count to me. It’s tighter. If it isn’t then I will use two strands.
