Seeing the Stretch and Sew video got me nostalgic. I took a class thru my local Stretch store back in the day. I wish I had kept all my patterns. I have recently bought a few off of Etsy just for fun and style. I can’t wait to start on them.

So lovely to see you…thank you for squeezing in the time to film and edit…not easy to do when there are family matters afoot. I will be praying for you and your family. One thing I do when I am stressed but want to be near my sewing stuff is winding bobbins. Bobbins are annoying in the middle of a project, so I try to keep basics spooled up on a little rack. Low stress but comes in handy. Best wishes..Chris in FL

I absolutely LOVE your makes!!!❤ I’ve never sewn a style arc pattern because I have heard their directions are hard to understand and follow. Did you find that to be the case with the patterns you shared here?
Also, I’m praying for peace in your family and that God would comfort you❤. I’ve had family issues that have affected me greatly but have always found God, in His time, to heal, and bring together family members. Find comfort that God will prevail! ❤
Thanks Michele! Style Arc patterns do have condensed instructions and can be harder to understand, but they have improved so much since their earlier releases. The Joan Woven top is an easy one.

Praying for you and your family. Great video, lots of plans and I hope you get to them this year. I am slowly working on the quilted lining(never done before) for a jacket I want to make.I'm not in a hurry Also planning on some pajamas, half are cut out , half are not. Got chilly quick here in east Texas but will be warming up a bit by midweek but I've been working on both cool weather and warm weather garments with some upcycling.

It did get chilly here in East Texas rather quickly!. Although, having spent most of my life in the frozen tundra of Minnesota, it still doesn’t feel all that cold to me yet 😂
I have never done a quoted line! That sounds like a fun project. And pajamas are always a great sew.
I have been working on some upcycle projects too! But as I mentioned, in my video, just very slow when I have time. I mean, it’s a hobby, I like to have fun while we do it, right?
I'm from the Pacific Northwest where it's cold and wet much of the year but
it doesn't get as cold as Minnesota normally.@@SharonSews

You remind me of the women I used to work with at Hancock Fabrics in Roseville, Mn.
Really?!? I did work at Hancock Fabrics (Minnesota Fabrics) for a while, but the one in Bloomington.
I also was a member of ASG, and we would meet in the basement of the Roseville store (I think… Now my memory isn’t 100% sure on that) maybe remember my face from that?
Anyway, I think that’s really cool.
