Thank you for this! After relying on olaplex last go round when I bleached my hair and had it almost completely break off, this time around when it started breaking I ditched the olaplex and got k18. I’ve done 3 at home treatments so far and and I am IMPRESSED. My curl pattern is returning, hair is breaking less, it looks and feels healthier, and it seems the effects do not completely shampoo out. I will do the 6 consecutive treatments, and probably just keep using after every wash until I can cut all the fried bleached hair off, but I’m feeling like this is going to help me truly restore my bleached hair and get it healthy. A big part of what I like about it is that it’s allowing my to air dry and wet style my hair with minimal frizz whereas before even with tons of olaplex, my hair air dried like crunchy crispy fried ramen noodles lol
I love K18! They recommend clarifying the hair before use so the product can get into the hair better. I’ve been using the mist like you and then if I’m lightening or foiling, using Malibu undogoo as the shampoo before using the leave in and then tone after the four minutes. I noticed that you absolutely can overuse the mask especially since it recommends using the mask before a Vivids application. I noticed the pigment didn’t take quite as well when I overused the mask. Curious to see how it will work with your Vivids clients! They are arguably the ones that need this treatment most! :)
Thank you so much for letting me know I feel like the instructions are a little confusing maybe it’s just me I’m not fully understanding how to use it but I think a more in-depth instruction manual For professionals would be a great idea💪 I agree I did this treatment on my mum and I felt like it was a little heavy maybe I use too much of the leave in mask🤷♀️ I definitely need more practice in real life situations..
Your video is well explained ! Can’t wait to try it! I was confused about the mask if I had to rinse it out or not. So understood the process now. BTW, your hair looks stunning 😍 you are a true professional HD. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for watching I really really appreciate it means a lot to me🥰 I am so glad I could help! I did also find the instructions a little confusing in the beginning also so once I figured it out I thought I better share it😂🥰❤️🙌🏼
You should definitely use a color shampoo or clarifying shampoo before applying k18 mask as the color will stop it from entering the hair the way it should! And skip conditioner! As these also have silicones and block it from also entering the hair!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge❤️ I didn’t realise how important it was to shampoo after. It was Still a good result, but it’s even better now I’m actually shampooing my hair 😂❤️
I don’t think it completely replaces the need to use no 1&2 in your chemical services but it is really a nice addition 💪 if you have a client who complains Olaplex dosnt leave their hair feeling soft enough, this is great to give them 👍🏻
Thankyou very much 😀, I found with Olaplex, doing the 1 and 2 treatment, shampoo out then use a protein mask , to help repair the "muscle" of the hair then a moisturizing mask to replenish the "skin" , that really works 💪
@@alisonpilkington532 k18 does all that for you in just 4 min! Olaplex only repairs disulfide bonds where k18 repairs keratin chains and disulfide bonds too! But in a way quicker manner than Olaplex
K18 didn't work on dry damage hair at all. This product dries them up and they became frizzy after the recommended 6 uses. After I use Phyto Paris products (a lot less expensive that K18 for a lot more product), my hair became shiny. I'm sure glad I bought K18 at Sephora as I got my money back. Thanks Sephora for my 100.$. This product is not cheap mind you. Over-enthusiastic followers hyped it up but it doesn't deserve it in my very humble opinion.
You make this same exact comment on every K18 video. Do you work for Phyto? I have dry damaged hair and K18 absolutely fixed my hair. If anyone finds it drying because of the denatured alcohol just rinse out after the 4 minutes and use a hair mask. You also most likely over applied. That will make the hair feel dry too.
Very nice product. I'm. So inlove with it too
Thank you 😊 so glad you like it too 🤗

@@therainbowhairartist4049 you’re very welcome! ☺️
Damn now I want this
I got it and love it so much. Much better than olaplex where I had to sacrifice levels of lift.
Can you use olaplex in your color or lighter still with this product?
Yes absolutely I am a huge Olaplex fan I find that the two compliment each other very well❤️👌
Really glad you reviewed this product!, thankyou, I trust you 😊💯. Is it on the same par as olaplex? X
