After that song was released, teenagers who ran away from home often returned home. That's the song that BTS remade. Seo Taeji even invited BTS as a guest at his solo concert. BTS became so close that they called him 'father'. I'm proud of them.

This song is not original from the boys, it's by an artist named Seo Taiji, a Korean music legend and the most important artist in the country until BTS, he was the one who asked them to do a new version of the song, and also named Bangtan his successors.
As a korean, seo tae ji was cultural phenomenal at that time. Because his music was totally different from the usual music in Korea music industry. Especially to the youth. Even now he doesn't come out at tv but everyone remember him. I mean almost every generation knows him. Also because of the song's tittle was 'come back home' runaway teenagers who left their home and wander went back home... This information makes me more proud of BTS because it means they collaborated with real OG in korea who actually had willing to give some meaningful massage to youth. Because that's what BTS is trying to do.
"muster" is basically a fanmeeting, it's like a concert but they sing songs that they don't sing a lot and sit down to talk a lot, sometimes play small games do silly performances and stuff like that. A little insight for people who don't know, So the original song is from 90's by seo taiji and boys group, they are the first k-pop group who broke stereotypes in korea making songs about youth and it became a movement, style, a way of life then among the teenagers back then and BTS's inspiration are seo taiji considering they also started with the concept of school, youth, rebel etc. Their original song of Seo taiji "come back home" had such big impact that the runaway teenagers actually came back home (come back home) after listening to the song Seo taiji and BTS are a movement we needed in our monotonous world to break the corrupt society 💜

This performance is from a Muster. The musters are like giant fan meetings they have, they play games on stage, perform songs and there are really cute vcrs in between that tell stories. Not even kidding they’re fan meetings with 70-90k people 😂😂 only bts would hold a fan meet that big 😍
I like to think of this as an adaptation, because it goes much further than covers usually do. They changed almost all the lyrics, the melody and the rhythm, basically it's "updated" to how BTS imagine the meaning and feel of the song.

I like to think of this as an adaptation, because it goes much further than covers usually do. They changed almost all the lyrics, the melody and the rhythm, basically it's "updated" to how BTS imagine the meaning and feel of the song.
