Please do not be offended if I point out that some travelers may be confused by this. Sekizenkan (積善館) is the name of the hotel. The name of the hot spring is Shima Onsen (四万温泉).♨
I love to stay in Ryokan especially at old city or town everytime I come to Japan instead of western modern hotel as long as my budget allows . So I can imagine how much this Ryokan may damage my bank account 😁
I lost count how many times I’ve watched Spirited Away and upon seeing that clip with that bridge and building plus the piano in the background, I got goosebumps and got teary eyed.. it’s just so beautiful!😍 I love Japan and would love to go back again and again🤞
The only downside of Japan is the people. The Japanese people are the most xenophobic on planet earth, and once you know the language, you quickly realize how the japanese people actually look at the "gaijin"
no I'm literally about to cry there are such beautiful places in japan i want to see. whoever gets there you're lucky just to have a chance to be there
The bathhouse really comes to life at night! All the food looked delicious this trip - all the little dishes at the ryokan, then the pastries! Thank you for sharing
spirited away was showing in disney channel when I was like 8 or 7 I only got to see the half of it and cried when haku got to know his real name, I saw the movie name, memorize it and so as the date and time it will show again then I waited and watched it again but now from the beginning. Years passed, I was 16 then decided to rewatch it again since I can't remember the bits of it. It feels as though I was a kid again 😂 so many rewatches happened next. Now I'm 21 Spirited away feels like home, it comforts me and at the same time it pains me to watch it for the nth time which I enjoyed watching since I was a kid. If I'll ever get a chance to visit Japan, I will DEFINITELY come here. これを私たちと共有していただきありがとうございます 💖
Very enjoyable visit to an onsen and Nagano. The hot spring was very lovely. My Nagano favorite was the apple custard pie. So flakey. Thank you enjoyed your vlog.
I love videos that show the best of a country, culture, people, art, anything that's the "best" of. This video was so beautiful. I have no idea how many times I've seen "Spirited Away" and the rl location is as magical as the story.
ahh, this reminds me of my trips in Kyushu - where we stayed in a small town inspired by scenes from Natsume Yuujinchou!! I would like to visit this one day, too.
Thank you for the scene change (is that how they call it in cinematography?) That at least 5 seconds or more. That way we as a viewer could digest what you are going through the journey and feel like we're part of it. Most of the vloggers out there change scenes too fast it gives me headache though I would love to see their journey. Success for your channel and safe and enjoyable next trip😊❤
I used to live close to Nagano, so I spent a lot of time in the city but I moved away in March 2020...it was nice to see it (looking the same) 3 years later:,)
Thank you for uploading these amazing videos. I have wanted to have a stay-cation in Japan for the longest time. However my life has yet to afford me that opportunity; so it is awesome to see so many high quality videos seeing the wealth of diversity Japan has to offer. The abundant natural beauty, wonderful landscapes year round is so invigorating to behold--even behind a computer screen. (Not to mention the food that you show off) I wish you and yours the best in the coming year!
This was such a brilliant video. The choice of film shots and your musical choices had such a pleasant and relaxing feel to it. The ryokan was absolutely beautiful, I really can see how it inspired Spirited Away, just stunning. Those apple pies with custard looked amazing, you can’t beat something like that on a chilly day. I’ve subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching your previous content and your future videos. Thank you for sharing this amazing visit, best wishes from England
@@SolLife_hello, i really love your video! It was a nice walk-through of the ryokan, however i have a question, do you need to have a japanese post code to make reservations? I am hoping to book for me and my parents. On their website it seems to be the case, how can foreigners book sekizenkan without a japanese post code? It would be a big help if you can kindly reply, thank you so much in advance! 🤗
This is the 3rd video of yours I watched (today), You do an excellent job of balancing a tranquil atmosphere and feel to your video while also showing the fun touristic aspects
The Spirited Away bathhouse drew me in, and your vlogging style sealed the deal - you got here another subscriber! Love the calm vibes of your video. Hello from Singapore :)
Nagano looked great but I was really interested in the Onsen and hotel. It really did look like the one from the movie. I could practically see Sen (sorry, Chihiro :D ) running across the bridge at the end of the movie. One question I have is how was the actual water. Was it really hot, scalding?
Is there a tutorial somewhere how to obtain these (rail and bus) passes? It seems so complicated to me btw this is a wonderful video, im in love with the beautiful nature and every place
Thanks for watching!

I don’t think anyone would be offended. You are just giving information.
Agree with above. The video description has wrong name. Good to give correct name.
You videos are enticing me to sell all my possessions and visit Japan even once in my lifetime . Its majestical
😂💕
Japan is one of my favorite places I’ve lived. I recommend everyone visit Japan at least once. Im moving back to Okinawa in 2 months I can’t wait
majestical?
@@hunterflyden236 Pay for me to and I gladly will. 😛 Some of us simply can't afford to travel. We can barely afford to live where we are. ☹️

This would be a DREAM! I would love to experience this place, especially since me and my sons love Spirited Away

In the Zenkoji temple there is a spot where you can walk in pure darkness and can’t even see in front of you.
This is the epitome of Zen, thank you so much for sharing this with us 💗
The "Zen" 善 in the name of the hostel means goodness/kindness, which is different from the "Zen" 禅 in Buddhism.
Having Cold sake after outdoor onsen looking at snow capped mountain is pure joy
It's so relaxing to watch Sol's videos in the morning
A phantastic, calm video ! I really LOVE the Japanese Culture!

Omgosh…. I had no idea this place was real. So many things in spirited away are real, it’s so magical 🤩😍😭
Less than $10 for lunch at the resort restaurant. Those noodles look delicious too.
群馬県積善館まで行ったら、山の方の四万湖に行って欲しかった❗本当にブルーなんです、空みたいな色で美しいですよ。特定の季節の快晴の日に限るけど。

Hi, do you mind me asking what camera you used for your vlogs? The quality is so clear and nice! 🥰
That looked like Noface standing in the door at 7:52!
Nagano is one of most beautiful places on earth.
