Yet another one to try to make, no doubt adding more damage to my "girlish figure"....LOL.........love the way you show how easy what one would normally think are difficult bakes really aren't. Could quite catch the types of apples you recommended for these pies, I like to use Granny Smiths for either making baked apple or to add to a tossed green salad as they have a nice tart taste to them, would they work with this pie recipe?

Hi John. Any plans for bread made in an airfryer? I tried to adapt one of your bread roll recipe and baked it in the airfryer but they were a bit tougher than the normal oven rolls.

There's no apple dish that isn't improved by the addition of blackberries.
Would people please put the pie back under the heat to slightly cook the crumble and allow some juice to caramelise it. Thats proper apple crumble.
Love a crumble, whether apple, rhubarb (my favourite), or blackberry fresh picked in August.
Never had a pie mixed with a crumble though, interesting concept.

My son always asked a homemade apple pie for his 'birthday cake' every year. He was happy as a clam when I made him one. I always tried to make several throughout the year. Cake for my daughter and brownie for my hubby. We aren't traditional about some things in our family. I, however, eat whatever dessert is nearby. (My hips agree.)

I make your gluten free white bread at least once a week and have done so since you first aired it , and it is great . I also bake your fruit loaf ( I tweaked it a little for gluten free ) weekly and that is wonderful also . You are a great cook John and your presentation is the best I’ve seen .
