PEOPLE OF TH-cam: We need to find a way to publicize this young lady's channel, so that her subscriber base increases to the point where she can become a full-time TH-camr, because I want to be able to see vlogs like this every day or two!!!
I just found Kim via a great mention by Thomas Heaton. He's got a big following, so hopefully that will help. I agree, Kim, you deserve more followers!
I am experiencing new firsts with every video. The Fairy pools are like precious gems of liquid magic. You are a hardy human Kim. Embrace Scotland, embrace nature herself.
The bridge certainly has been mixed blessings. I started taking my young family to Skye in the 80's - & this ferry crossing meant you needed to plan. There were enough tourists to make the ferry work, but not so many that the Isle began to suffer from footfall on the landscape. However, it does mean there is a lot more money being brought into Skye - some of which can be plowed back into looking after this landscape. Very enthusiastic delivery and enjoyable.
Another great location video, a job well done, although I live in a flat area, you have inspired me to search deeper in my own backyard, local area for that awesome composition that's hidden here. Thank you for all your awsomness.
Lovely series Kim, you come from a beautiful part of the world. Isle of Skye is definitely on my to do list. Magical. Once again your enthusiasm for the scenery and nature in general is invigorating.
Hi Kim, I really like your energy and your videos. The isle of skye videos were a joy to watch and I can't wait for what you have planned next. Your little ritual in the fairy pools made me think that maybe you may wanna get a little bit of fairy magic every time you visit and get some back with you 😀. All the best!
Another great vlog...with fantastic pictures. Your picture have their own unique quality about them and i think that every vlog has been great.when i looked at your subscription number about 5 days ago and see them now at 9.1k...that is fantastic. It clearly demonstrates that add something to the landscape community...simply inspiring.
oh fairy pools...I´ve been on skye few times and never get to them as weather wouldn´t allow...love Isle of Sky probably my most favourite place of Scotland...hopefully will come back soon.
Kim, what a wonderful person you are.... Keep making the Vlogs and I will keep watching them... The quality of the whole thing is certainly worth watching... Thank you for this series Kim... I look forward to seeing more of Scotland on your channel...
thank you for your videos, Kim. It's been a few months since your videos showed up on youtube recommendations, but you've grabbed me mainly due to your enthusiasm, the locations and your images. You've taken me through a memory of mine, which is, everytime I got a chance to fly back home, I always go to "my" beach, whatever the weather, and splash my face with salt water. It does feel invigorating, specially in the Winter.Thank you for that. Very good work, keep it up! ;)
What a wonderful way to finish of your epic series of Skye. It has been a pleasure walking along with you and sharing your adventures. You know what I like about your videos, is that you have got the balance just right between photography and nature, coupled with your enthusiasm makes for unmissable viewing. You've bagged some stunning photographs on this trip and I'm glad that you enjoyed your time on Skye. Stay safe on your adventures! Regards, Richard.
Thank you for the beautiful series of the Isle Of Skye. Watching your videos I get to see a beautiful places from around Scotland that is the only way I can enjoy the wonderful places. Thank you for all that you do and the weather you brave to bring us this beautiful landscape. Love your enthusiasm. Continue with the good work. Also love the photographs you take.
Hi Kim... A lovely ending to your Isle of Skye adventure... It is Sunday morning here in Vermont, USA as I view this. The long exp. from a previous visit was very well composed & the sun sneaking through, lighting up the greens/yellows at the mountain base put that image over the top! Very well done... Bill Farr @ WGF Studio53... :-)
Great video. The image from your earlier trip was jaw-droppingly gorgeous, but I equally enjoyed seeing your joie de vivre of just letting yourself go in that magical place! Cheers!
Another fantastic vlog Kim, just love your enthusiasm. Your love of Scotland and the outdoors really comes across. Always look forward to your vlog. Thanks
Kim, Great video from a fabulous location......I'm lucky to be able to spend quite a bit of time on Skye and I've never seen the car park at Glen Brittle so empty!!
Kim, this has been just an incredible series of vlogs from beautiful Isle Of Skye! Loved every one of them & this as a finalè was just perfect. Stunning Fairy Pools, wow! So glad that you had such an amazing time there. And I really do love all your vlogs but there's just something that extra special from the Elgol one for me, truly adore those views of The Cullin mountain range, breathtaking 😚
Kim, fantastic video, to actually watch somebody walk up to the falls is great, I've got a house booked on Raasay in October, this walk and the Fairy Pools is at the top of the list, and hopefully catch some Northern lights if we're lucky. What time of year did you film this? October may be a bit chilly also? I used to live in Inverinate, not far from Kyle when I was kid, I've lost count of how many times I've been to Scotland on holidays, I can't wait to go back and do some photography. Great videos, great pictures, keep on doing what you're doing. :)
Kim your enthusiasm is infectious, i love your vlogs and images, i even went out today to take some landscapes, not something i do very often as i am a sport's Togger normally
Very jealous Kim. When we visited the Fairy Pools one April we could not get out of the car for the blizzard. Took refuge in the pub near the Talisker distillery and vowed to go back one day. Your vlog reminded me of that thought....thank you.
Well done Kim only found you a couple of weeks ago. Having been to Skye I know how you feel. I think you need to take a trip to Mull you’ll feel The same
Thank you for this video, i was last summer on Isle of Skye and i fallen with my camera in one of this pools by the Fairy Pools. So i can say the water was very clear but a little bit cool. Fortunately the camera was not destroyed, a littlebit wet but no more. Apart from this adversity, I would immediately go back to Isle of Skye and the Fairy Pools, it is so beautifull.
I've just found your channel and will be binge watching! I was at the Fairy Pools in Feb 2020, just before Storm Ciara hit, and it was exactly like your video. Arctic, muddy, and empty. Kudos to you for getting the video done, I couldn't even get it together to get my proper camera out, the cold stopped me from thinking straight. Or possibly at all. On going global catastrophes permitting, we are going back in May, when I'll no doubt be moaning about the crowds instead 😂
Thank you for following along Kate. Great to hear that you are enjoying the videos. Fairy pools is a great place but can be very busy with tourists in the summer. Great you've been there and enjoyed it. All the best with your next trip there.
Thanks, so much, Kim, your Isle of Skye videos were truly wonderful! It is, indeed, such a beautiful place and I can't wait to return someday. I'm envious of your visit to the Fairy Pools. The only time I was there it was a mob-scene of people and so difficult to get a shot without someone in it. You got some great photos on this trip, thanks again.
The Fairy Pools, especially that top section, are just dreamy - I drove the 520 miles up there only to experience a near death crash on the Bridge - Two weeks of rain meant that the entrance to the Pools was too flooded to cross the bottom stream where you walked over the stepping stones - I will return.
Renegade Scot It sure can - I hear they're meant to be building a new car park. And yes - I've stayed at Glen Brittle campsite twice. I absolutely love it!
Amazing video nice to hear a local accent aswell😊how far up was that last fairy pool you were at I was there yesterday I must of not went as far up as that
great finale to a great series Kim. I know you said in the first episode you booked your accommodation through Air BnB, can you advise as to the name of the chalet you booked as it certainly looked ideal for a place to stay and explore
If you have them in Scotland get some instant hand warmer packets. You can put them in your gloves and in your shoes. Be careful they can burn the skin but they will prevent frostbite.
Kim, you wholeheartedly deserve every single praising comment you get. I certainly couldn't add anything different to the comments you've had. I can only say that I've enjoyed all your vlogs tremendously. I've learnt so much and hope to add to that. Keep going Kim, I personally think you're fantastic. x Until next time 🌹,,👍 😊 📷
Hello Kim. Another great video. My wife and I were at the Fairy Pools a couple of weeks ago. We had great weather that day and, like you there was nobody there. I took my best ever images while we were there you can watch my vlog of it to check them out. Loved it there and we will definately be returning.
Splashing your face in that water maybe cold and invigorating, but you're actually 103 years old aren't you? That's the waterfall of youth :) Another great video, that looks like a great place and one for my bucket list.
Skye was the first place I went to in Scotland but still go back quite often. I've been going to quite a few other Scottish islands over recent years, so where is the next new Scottish island location for you? There are certainly plenty to choose from.
Philip Aston I've no plans yet but looking into a potential island trip this summer. Will see where life takes me - I'd like to explore them all! Orkney, Shetland, mull and iona are on my hit lost. Would also love to go to Harris and Lewis again
I have been to Mull several times and once to Orkney, both are fabulous. We are going to Shetland in May for the first time. I will let you know how it compares to the others. Another great place is the Isle of Barra.
haha you are like me...les people better :D :D being on the rop of the mountain on my own or in places like this is true blessing :D what do you use to have such clear voice on camera with the wind? I struggle with this and never take talking videos out which I would love to???
Ive really enjoyed the Skye videos, never been to the Scottish west coast and it looks amazing..though I really don’t do cold either. 100% agree!! Kim's videos are as good or better than anyone's!!! Always look forward to Kim's Videos!
I just found Kim via a great mention by Thomas Heaton. He's got a big following, so hopefully that will help. I agree, Kim, you deserve more followers!
Should be on national tv well done Kim
I agree. Kim's talent and her generosity should be acknowledged.
I have never seen anyone enjoy more at what they are doing, and the love of nature.
I am experiencing new firsts with every video. The Fairy pools are like precious gems of liquid magic. You are a hardy human Kim. Embrace Scotland, embrace nature herself.

Beautiful great to watch Kim
As a Scot living abroad, I do find your accent incredibly wholesome. Thanks for the vid! :-)

Wow, wow, wow, how on Earth are you going to top this trip Kim? Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much.
Anthony Hedger Not sure if I will! I'll get planning another one though - I can only try!
Kim embodies the term "high on life"

Hey I’m visiting this place near the end of this year and I wanted to know if you have any tips for visiting it and how to get around there
Good ! Hello from France
Ive really enjoyed the Skye videos, never been to the Scottish west coast and it looks amazing..though I really don’t do cold either. From what you say though if we went in good weather there would be hoards of people, which my wife would dislike. Ever tried Donegal? I’ve been a couple of times and even in summer there seem to be huge beaches with pretty much nobody on them 😮
I’ve also been amused by the semi-mythic person with you, you always say ‘we’ but they only appear for brief seconds...or is that them at all? As a photographer married to a fairly camera shy person I know the feeling of going somewhere with somebody, but for whom (unless I make a real effort) there will be no evidence!
Andy Smart Most of my friends are very camera shy and don't like to be filmed. That's why you rarely see them 😂 and no, I've never been to Donegal but really hoping to do an Ireland tour next year!
Great video
Oh no, so sad to leave Skye. How long before you move there ...
I'm beginning to think I should travel to Scotland on my 3 days long week-end at the end of the month...
This place is definitely on the list for my April trip. Now I'm even more impatient! How long did it take to go from the parking lot to the last waterfall?
virginieb20 Without stopping it would probably take half an hour. It's beyond the sign that says "this is the end of the fairy pools walk" or something similar.
Thank you!
Hope you didn’t get too cold in the pool!
