The dogs were certainly having a blast! They love country life!
They really do! Fenrir (the irish terrier) was so funny when we first arrived he thought he had to be on guard duty all the time, even just leaves blowing would startle him.

What a fantastic place for your garden. I bet it's in the works now. We just put our's in last week. 8 different types of blueberries, 2 different types of tomatoes, cucumbers and 2 different types of potatoes. Hoping this year well will not have the monsoons and things will get a chance to grow. Happy gardening and the house colours are lovely.

I planted potatoes in cardboard boxes for a raised patch in NC. Utube has some videos of people planting in bales which is too expensive for me until I saw videos for cardboard boxes from Home Depot can't have print on them. Anyways no use tilling rocks if you don't have to.

You are blessed with that much property watching you walk through the woods reminds me of my youth hiking around the Phonecia NY area in my youth. A video of you clearing snow would be awesome.
Thank you! We are very blessed indeed. It took a lot of courage, hard work and planning as well. We didn't do to much snow clearing for the driveway as we have a local guy who does it for the area. But once we have our own equipment, absolutely!

Hi. I was wondering if you would put a wood burning stove in the house for the times you have power outages. You could dry out the trees you cut down for next winter .
Hi there, yes that is definitely on our list of wants for next year. We have been stacking all the logs we cut down from the garden area for firewood :)
Do you have a wood stove brand you would recommend?
@@ravenwillowfarmstead the TH-cam channel the Vanwives are in a forest in in Nova Scotia and they love their wood stove not sure what make it is. Maybe have a look at their channel. They are also on a homestead.

When I saw you with the chainsaw in your hand right after you showed the cat in the tree, the first thought that came to me, was are going to get your cat out of the tree.
