Many people think they lack the talent for language learning. Still, the real issue might not be the problem of whether you have language talent, but… because you might lack understanding of a crucial theory: Comprehensible Input. If you can manage this game-changer tool, your language learning timeline could shrink from years to months or weeks!
Very true. Thanks Emma. Would be nice if you could give specific examples of your personal experience in achieving such advance level of fluency in English without studying or working in an English speaking country. Perhaps you have attended international schools in China or have close friends who are native English speakers?
Thank you for your thoughtful question! I actually attended a regular public school in China, but I made an effort to seize every opportunity to practice. One key factor in my journey was comprehensible input - constantly surrounding myself with materials that were just slightly above my current level. This way, I was learning naturally without needing to live or study in an English-speaking country. Happy to share more if you’re interested!
@@Emma_Xi yes practise practise and practise. To be honest your English is so fluent and precise that it’s way better than any of the non native English speaking Chinese blogger on TH-cam. Well done!
Good job Emma 👍

Thanks for the kind words! Do my best to keep it up!
